Yeah I have an MT-32 emulator and it sounds exactly the same as real MT-32 so I don't have to pay almost 200$$ for it

+Jez, +Rising Star Productions I know right. Space Quest 4: Time Rippers, as opposed to 3 or 5, had no good story-line and was pretty much all over the place, and the plot was unstable. The only thing good about Space Quest 4 was the arcade at the mall, the burger making sequence, and the hot babes. Otherwise, it was as crap as a TV set from the 1940's XD.

SQ3 really pissed me off in places where you had to know EXACTLY what to do with the EXACT wording and there was no way to know it except coincidence or looking up a walkthrough.

III is my fav also. Although possibly it was one of the easiest one. Mind you SQ wasn't renowned in general for being hard. SQIV was also pretty easy.

One of my all time favorite games. Brings a special warm fuzzy feeling inside. My favorite in the Space Quest series followed by 2. They're all great. All of the old Sierra Adventure games are special and literally taught me to type at the age of like 3 4 and 5.

No, SQ3 still had a parser. SQ4 was the first point-and-click game in the SQ series.

The mouse was entirely optional, and could only be used for walking though, there were no action icons. You still had to use the parser to interact with things, therefore I don't consider SQ3 a point-and-click game.

Space Quest 1 was a solid game about an adventure with some comedy. Space Quest 2 was basically 1 all over again. Space Quest 3 was the first one to be more of a parody than an adventure, but it worked, so much so that it's probably the second best of the series. Space Quest 4 was a bizarre mess, but it sold well enough (more than the first three combined) so that Space Quest 5 was made. 5 was probably the best of the series, with the most developed characters and storylines. 6 was just weird and gross.
