Rangers were a hot mess but they were critical in mastering orbital launch mechanics needed for Apollo. Great video!

A class act as usual! I'm simply blown away with how you manage to put these things together using only stock parts, it really is amazing how you see the potential of what KSP gives you in the VAB has and how you can adapt the various bits and pieces to build these truly fantastic spacecraft. Bravo for this one and looking forward to the next episode. Now time to get back to my own KSP where I'm trying to get the "Flea" to fly properly! :O)

Excellent job! As a child of the Space Age, it is great to see the baby steps being remembered in such detail. With all these flat-earther and we didn't land on the moon types walking around, I thought for sure society would be heading back into the caves scared of the dark. But it looks like there is hope.

After the Apollo-Soyuz you should just continue a bit less fast, but chronologically correct. Thats what I would like most.
@GameplayReviewUK5 жыл бұрын
I may do this, it's depends on how long it takes me to get there. For example I want to do the 2020 rover before it get to Mars and I won't be doing every mission ever before then.
@nicolasflamel20275 жыл бұрын
@@GameplayReviewUK - I mean that I would like it if you continued this series, of course you can do other things.
@GameplayReviewUK5 жыл бұрын
Basically I will continue it but I want to end up at a point where I no longer feel they need to be released chronologically either way they will be setup in a playlist so they can be watched in order like my original Pure stock Replicas series. It makes the videos easier to make when you are not taking into consideration the next video in the series you have yet to start but I will do this when I can as I think it's been more enlightening for the viewers.
@GameplayReviewUK5 жыл бұрын
So ironically It may end up faster but less chronologically accurate.
@GameplayReviewUK5 жыл бұрын
But there will only be one mission per video at that stage so it won't seem so fast.

Why is the first stage only a small part at the engines?
@GameplayReviewUK5 жыл бұрын
The fuel is shared with the main engine. They weren't sure if they could start an engine in space when they created it. I think specific impulse also has a role to play in it.
@thomaswijgerse7235 жыл бұрын
to add, the center engine was the most efficient, but it was not powerful enough to lift the rocket at launch, so they added 2 booster engines to it to help in getting of the ground, when the rocket got light enough due to burning its fuel it would drop the booster engines and continue on its efficient engine.

Hi, you have very cool videos, but please add subtitles to attract a larger audience and so that people like me Russians can enjoy your beautiful videos too
@GameplayReviewUK5 жыл бұрын
We have been discussing this... For me the tricky part is also including all of the historical dialog accurately for the hard of hearing too. Historically the main focus for me was to make videos with no need for any text or langue so everyone can understand them at the same level. However the extra info I've added seems to be rather popular. I would actually prefer to make videos with no text and then add it later in KZbin so expect it at some point :)
