Space Salt Mine "Salina Turda" (October 15, 2023) MegaRegaTour

Recently, 52 travelers visited the extraordinary Cosmic Salt Mine "Salina Turda" (ISolina Turda - salt mines in the Transylvanian city of Turda), which is one of the oldest places of salt production in Romania with a depth of more than 100 meters.
Journalists of the prestigious website Business Insider consider the mine to be the most beautiful underground attraction. In addition, this mine was included in the list of "25 unusual attractions on Earth, the existence of which tourists did not suspect", although the extraction of salt has been taking place here since time immemorial. Archaeological excavations show that salt was mined in this area even before the arrival of the Romans. With the help of European funds, in 2009, work was carried out on the arrangement of the Turda salt mine. Currently, there are medical halls, an amphitheater, sports halls (table tennis, bowling, minigolf, billiards), a "ferris wheel" from which you can admire the salt stalactites. But the main attraction of the mine is an underground lake, where you can even swim in boats. The air temperature in the mine is 11-12 degrees, and the humidity in various halls is 73-80%. It is probably not for nothing that the American director Christopher Nolan chose the Turda dungeon for the shooting of his third film about Batman - "The Dark Knight Rises" (The Dark Knight Rises, 2012), because it is a real underground space!
To briefly describe, these scales are amazing, you are surrounded by salt everywhere, and those patterns and colors are real magic! We sailed on boats and the mine opened up to us from completely different angles! We couldn't do without souvenirs, we wanted to bring something with that energy!
In conclusion, I can say that I want to come back here more than once! That's why we will do it!
