A few things: - setting up atmosphere - make places scrub contaminants more effectively - testing new gas mixes on the SM and causing massive delamination - doing stupid gas ideas

I was Peyton! Remember, always screw down your windows! Also, I said run because the hydrogen ignited. At least, I think that was the reason. so yeah, double check the windows after screwing them down to prevent workplace accidents

well i only did metal hydrogen in the prevois version where the fusion was plasma hydrogen and tritium and we had no crystalizer so i needed 1e6 of both pressure and temperature to make metal hydrogen. a little tip for getting very hot temperatures, make hot ice from cooled freon and oxygen and bust an entire pack with 50 hot ice sheets with your welder, the temperature easily goes 100k kelvin.
@DirkMcBlade3 жыл бұрын
This honestly surpasses a lot of my understanding. I can't even consistently get the results from burning plasma in my private server's turbine room to copy over to the tgstation server. But I will return to atmospherics again. One day.

I was the one that made the wing potions and got murdered by RD for trying to put blood purification into my private nanite cloud so my irradiation (from self rerolling for firebreath) wouldnt kill me. The rd just didnt want anyone to touch the nanite lab and probably wanted a reason to play with their hulk.

Don’t worry, you’ll get to metal hydrogen eventually- it’s shockingly easy, you can do a tritium burn inside of the mix loop because the crystallizer only absorbs the gasses that you need for the selected recipe.

ALWAYS do an extra check on the windows for burn chambers. Also lights are typicaly, wrench > wires > screwdriver > bulb. Also all this would have been easier if Filters still had an unlimited pressure output. Fuckers had a higher throughput to their side than a volume pump 5 years ago. Want to filter off plasma from a supermatter with a TEG rigged to it for a burn chamber? A filter would do you perfectly for pulling that plasma. Hell you could fill a canister well into the 100,000 kpa range in the course of a shift if you had the SM set right for plasma production.

Well, to solidify hydrogen needs to be under high pressure and in low temperature. High temperatures increase the pressure but not enough to solidify a liquid or a gas, so heating it won't do anything. To solidify hydrogen you need to freeze it and put a lot of it in a very small space . Incredibly hot hydrogen (~70000 degrees Celsius as far as i remember) can be used in thermonuclear synthesis or fusion, fusion is in the game but it is a bit oversimplified.
