If you want to understand what's actually going on: Oxygen can hold little heat, when hot it expands a lot, get oxygen as cold as possible to put as much of it as possible in the tank Plasma can hold a LOT of heat it doesn't expand much when hot. ttv connects oxygen and plasma, hot plasma transfers heat to cold oxygen, oxygen becomes hot, oxygen expands way past the pressure that tank can hold, boom.

It will be a really small ttv, not a maxcap. You have to burn some plasma with oxygen to heat it up at least to 15000 °c to get a maxup. Even the top heat-machine can't reach more then 1500°c. And one more tip: NEVER USE TANK COMPRESSOR WITH HOT PLASMA, IT WILL BE DESTROYED AND START A FIRE

Any recommendations for getting into TGcode scientist? I'm not trying to be useless but the wiki is very shallow for actually useful entry activities that actually build transferable skill I came back to the game after the better half of a decade, primarily been meta maxing the capabilities of the new (to me) psychologist position. But I have played a few successful chem rounds as well. However I'm blown away by how creative many scientists can be outside of borgspam. It seems they can do so much and no one is wise to it, until the curtains are pulled away. However, I'm not looking to take a low cap job to inevitably screw up a few shifts. And no HoP has been willing to assign me to science on grey rounds either.

That is far from the maximum capacity for explosions (maxcap). If you want to do small bombs like that it is better just to do a single tank bomb (single cap) and save the transfer valves for real maxcaps.

No need for the pumps actually just take the hot plasma or cool oxy from the canisters, they got tank ports, too, just crank them full, no need to measure the input pressure

On tg i dont think plasma heated only like that to that temperature works, i think on tg you should make a burn mix and burn it, maybe inside a canister, get all other gas but plasma out once good temperature, put in plasma tank (empty), and cool the oxy in the way you showed
