They're actually sentient fungus. Mi-go from the Lovecraft universe. Howard (the guy who wrote Conan) and Lovecraft were penpals in real life. They would leave easter eggs to each others work in their writings. I remember hearing that the devs did this as a reference to that, or something similar. Regardless, love the series guys. One of my favorite ways to unwind. 👍

Man watching you guys play makes me miss Conan. I used to play it with my cousins but when we jumped from Exiles to Siptah they just left and I kinda got stuck playing it alone. They were going to jump back in but only if we could tranfered our characters back from Siptah to Exiles, but Funcom removed the server/character tranfer option too at the time. I hope they bring that back.
