The best dark trance track ever produced for me ....sincerely.... That sound, man....Even 26 years later, it’s giving me the goose bump.... It made me fall into tears one time on the dancefloor. No kidding. It was played by one of my living God, Phi-Phi, at the Extreme club.... Remember that.....90’s trance is the best trance... Full of jewels like this one.... It’s like, Led Zeppelin for our fathers.... Wish I could turn back time to those good old days....😁

I consider it a mature trance record one of the greatest of its era.

25 years old and could be easily released today, so ahead of it's time. Unbelievable sound and minimalistic composition.

I made a 4 bar loop of this track years ago as a ring tone for my iphone. It's still in the settings and I use it from time to time. 😃

What a top tune, just no-one makes music like this anymore. Electronic instruments creating binary with soul. Producers nowadays just 'square pushing' just can't get the same emotif sound as you got during 93-98. All this Hardstyle crap. Just hardtrance with a tinny sounding bass. Less using plug-ins leave that to dupstep or someone who knows how to use them; Aphex Twin!

TOP!!! ,We have to preserve this gem for the future generations... and teach them the real sound and spirit of trance music , nowadays "trance" is crap compared to this and disrespectful.

Had this on a beautiful old mixtape by Tiga called Acid Grooves, in which it bridged Vinyl Blair's Horsework to the break in Desert Storm (Psycho Drums Remix)-an opening trifecta that was (and remains) devastating. Best part of it is that we never managed to ID the track until some 15 years later when Edit Select's Recluse/Surface to Air drew me to discogs whereupon I serendipitously stumbled onto (the now ID'd) Spacebuggy. There's something paradoxically comforting and unsettling in discovering that your new crush also happens to be an old infatuation.

I still remember the moment when a good friend of mine played this one to me for the first time after he came back from a trip to the recordstore. Amazing tune! I completely agree with Jonny Armstrong.. this music got deprecated by the masses in time, in favour of modern house crap, while it should be considered as the original art inspiring many others. Thumbs up for Spacebuggy!

I think there is still a massive market for this music. The clubs and the DJ stopped playing it a long time ago. Today it has gone all minimal with very little soul to it at all. Or it has gone to the other extreme were there is some whiny girly voice singing about nonsense. But there are still a lot of people who like this kind of music.
@a_w293510 жыл бұрын
bighands69 True; back in the days I was already pissed to hear the crap played on most DJ-sets, while knowing I myself had much better records at home that were not DJ exclusive, but simply bought at the various recordstores I visited. The problem nowadays is that most people only tend to buy the records they heard their favorite DJ(?) play on some kind of mainstream event/they saw on a tracklist from the event. So those records sell, are therefore classified as successfull, are therefore classified as "good house music" by the masses, and, as a result of that, are copycatted by the hundreds for the same masses. This creates a 'syndrum of down'-effect that results in the masses classifying great tracks like these as garbage, since their minds have been altered into qualifying the current mainstream-crap as "good house music". Lol, I bet Eric Cartman would have a solution for this ;-) www.discogs.com/Disco-Sluts-Kill-All-Hippies/release/105065
