Hey there been playing since Nov 8 the one thing I like is how slow it takes to lv up the hours you put in reflec the reward Like you I was one of those farm mob types but my guild had people that just wanted to craft an lv there professions so when a number of us reached 25 next step was caravans with all that glint we hoarded we amassed a ton of gold which we then invested into our people that were into professions they crafted the gear with lv20 recipes we had collected got good gear good enchantments then helped those guys lv up it's all about teamwork in aoc which I love about it whether it's joinning a Random team or asking around for a specific type of profession user this has it all an will only get better an with more details an better ways to earn xp gg bro

to be fair white, green and blue gear is basic trash loot when crafters come online the low end crafted gear basicly all blue materials which are easy to get will be coming out as heroic level so heroic will be low end gear purple mid gear and legendary the higher end gear and everything else will be irrelevant so grinding for gear shouldnt be a thing in phase 2. the biggest thing your hunting for from bosses and things will be the recipe and the exclusive material they drop to craft their items.

jist get 5800x3D, 32gigs of ddr5-6000 or higher and nothing less than a 4070, and you'll be fine. Grouped witg a dude that was using a 1080ti at all medium settings and getting solid frames.

The only thing in p1 crafting subopar is armour. Getting level 10 armour smithing was hard. Getting 20 is not possible.

Spellbooks have a trait that will chain lightning attacks to nearby enemies. I prefer the book over the bow in most scenarios and don’t have a book as strong as my bow

Thought a few ranger skills required bow? Regardless the skill trees for bow benefit ranger far more than tome skill tree, barrage procs so many arrowstorms from shortbow that it literally doubles barrage damage after an auto chain, and heartseeker / bullseye on longbow makes charged scatter shots hit more than twice as hard on average. No good synergy from tome like that.

@@SpaceCoconut you miss out entirely on a ranger passive which is quite strong using anything that isnt a bow. Alot of people dont relise rangers have a passive called bow mastery which reduces cooldown on barrage and scattershot by 3 second for bow finishers and extended finishers so a single bow combo will reduce the CD by 6 seconds, which is nuts with shortbows arrowstorm basicly double dmg your barrage and it CD is back with a fill AA rotation

I think it would be great to have less gear drops or even none besides Named Mobs who also already drop their Special Gear Resource and recipes. Also have less or almost nothing but materials and recipes from Artisan Vendors, that would open a bigger Market for players an the early Crafting would be viable. I already love that Monsters don’t drop gear.

removing loot from drop tables and replacing them with only mats/recipes is I believe unfavorable by the majority. It's not hard to to appease all audiences by having all three drop (set pieces, recipes, mats).

My prediction is this……50% of the current players will stop playing before release…..some might not come back. Why? Well, they will get burned out. Grind, grind, grind…..then get wiped. Start over and grind, grind, grind,….then get wiped. Rinse and repeat until launch, replaying all the same content and experiencing the same grind over and over. Personally, I plan on not playing once I figure out which class I want to go with. I’ll probably play again to test out the multi-classing aspects of the game. Once that’s done, it’ll be off to play something else until release.
