As someone with a bipolar disorder (episodes of depression and sometimes not) It has helped me cope A LOT, I’ve completely forgotten everything to watch things I wouldn’t know the second thing about, the fact that I could research for days black holes and planets and constellations and I wouldn’t even scratch the surface or even clutch the immeasurable size of our observable universe. I would kill. To be out there. Thank you for helping me cope, and thank you for being in Neptune’s night sky, I hope you all have a great day ❤

13:44 that's a dry water bed. So when lakes and rivers dry up, the floor dries up and ends up creating a cracked ground. So when the mud firsts dries it, it is flat, but through tectonic plates, wind erosion, and the sun, it cracks. Anyways, i had just found your channel today and I love it. 24:40 I'm not a meteorologist or astrophysicist or anything, but my best guess for why the temperature is so even across the planet is the atmosphere! You mentioned that this planet's atmosphere is 12x as dense as earth's, so maybe on this world the atmosphere works kind of like how ocean currents work on earth, carrying the warmth around?
@buzzybees86047 ай бұрын
18:50 Well that'd be like 1 or 10 (idk which) million years, I'm pretty sure 1 million, and that isn't really that long in the cosmic scale. I think it's an appropriate age for that system
@elitecereal7 ай бұрын
29:47 I'm not very educated on this topic but from what I understand, there's two explainations that I know which causes those. One is simple tectonic plate activity caused by tidal forces (like on europa) or the roof of a cave system (like on the moon).

10⁶ (1 million) years is very very young in stellar terms! Also tidal locking is common when a planet is quite close to its star, for example near a low-mass star such as a red dwarf it's expected almost all planets would be tidally locked.

Aaaaa, I’m a little late to this.. (29:44) But I Can Tell you What causes the scratches! It starts when debris from asteroids hitting the moon smash into the lunar surface, making it roll across due to the impact. A lot of moons have different gravity ratios, but since this one has the scratches, I’m guessing (THIS IS A GUESS..) that the gravity on this moon is a little higher then our moon, it rolled pretty far :)) but yes, over billions of years all those scratches from big to small form from debris smashing into the surface, or “the lunar surface.”
