as a gd player who has played since 1.9, I would confidently say that 1 update per 1 year is to slow (wait between 2.0 and 2.1) and 7 years is to fast (and rn in my opinion I hate when updates release so fast, like in 3 months, I can't even start useing Better Edit™ and build a functioning level)

I’m not sure how big the hardware limitations would be with water. I’ve been playing Juno new origins on my iPad and the water seems to work just fine. If it really is that big of an issue I think they could probably make a button in the options to either turn it off or remove waves or splashes if that’s a thing.

Not all RCS thrusters are cold gas, in fact very few are since cold gas is the least efficient thruster type

Juno has been around for a long time. In its early days, it too had a lot of bugs and lag. If hardware isn't a limitation, old games perform well because they have been fine tuned over the years.

KSP is one of the first games which pioneered the spaceflight simulation games genre, but that does not mean every 3d space sim is a copy of ksp. Juno is also a 3d space sim, but it has its own unique parts, its own artistic style, and its own theme. Just like how every open world shooter game is not a gta ripoff, every 3d space sim is not a ksp ripoff. The game hasn't been released yet, so there is a non zero probability that the game could be a ksp ripoff. But calling it that just because it is a 3d space sim is not accurate.
