An interesting, if somewhat dark, bit of trivia: Seagal's first daughter, Ayako Fujitani, is an accomplished writer. Her novel was the first live action movie made by Studio Ghibli's sister company, in which she also played one of the main characters. It was directed by the director of Neon Genesis Evangelion, and it's supposedly amazing. Ayako Fujitani, in particular, is spectacular in the dramatic role. Of course, it's build around themes such as OCD, depression, derealisation and suicidal thoughts. Which is not surprising, considering Fujitani's novel was autobiographical and dealt with a time when she was working with Seagal on 'The Patriot'.
