Inspired by the House Harkonnen and the movie Dune 2021 I release yet another video, A dark ambient journey with five different songs mixed together to create a seamless and cinematic story of high quality. It's quite relaxing and non-intrusive, even though it's dark, so you will have an easy time listening to this for sure....IMPORTANT: KZbin will push my content more when you LIKE 👍, COMMENT ✏️ and SUBSCRIBE 🔔. Wonderful deep lush bass pads and drone effects on this mix my friend I don't know how you manage to create so many tracks so fast 1 composition takes me about 2 days or at the very least 20 hours of pain and love lol The mixing is the longest part of music creation I prefer the mastering phase its a little less stressful at least to me, but yes once you have a good template and know what plugins you use often then the work flow moves a little better but I still suffer from writers block from time time it really gets my goat if you know what I mean mate in any case excellent sound production and the video is perfect too you earned a big like today from Synthworx cheers mate

Barony or later known as Ysai was a structure 45km long, 30km wide, 950 stories high, and made of plasteel and plaz armour. The Baron and aristocrats lived luxuriously on the upper stories while the rest of the population wallowed in the sprawl. Would be freaky to have a film or series on the Harkonnens and their origins. Great visuals!!

* Listening to this makes me tempted to re-read Dune; any chapters involving Harkonnen/Giedi Prime. ------------------ Giedi Prime looks beautiful on a distance but Seriously; it’s one of the last planets in the universe you ever would set foot on. What a bleak world. The sky is polluted of Black Coal smoke. The oceans filled with black oil. Wastelands full of volcanic activities. Industrial megacities that encompasses regions. Whatever is left of untainted nature, it’s only purpose exists to be used harvest for industries. Millions of unhappy inhabitants sooo unfortunate to be born on this industrial dark planet. Working from birth to death, not enough Solaris (imperium Currency) to escape this hellhole. Thousands of whales are being cattled for whale fur markets. House Harkonnen and their associates are vile people ruling this polluted world. This planetary dystopia exists because, the Imperium allows it. The whole damned planet makes Mordor look like a kindergarten to comparison. The planet is crying… ---------- That said, Awesome Ambience music! 👏

The Mongolian had many different religious beliefs from Nestorian Christianity, Judaism, Islam and Buddhism. The Irony is that the throat singing may have been used to communicate their religious beliefs. So this may not be as fictional as Dune 2021 supposes. But great music anyway.

For me this represents the view from the top of a cave on a mountain overlooking Geidi Prime. The monks who have have been in direct connection with Gaia and having relinquished their worldly attachments, pray and ponder. Guiding Prime represents everything that they avoid, artificial, cyberpunk, chaotic, flashy, always in turmoil. But they have the creepy feeling of failure of man. This behemoth being the representation of man's greed, irrational exuberance, disconnect and discontent with Gaia. The singing represents their stoic and powerful method to maintain their connection with nature. But also their angst for loss of mankind. As geidi Prime shines brighter, with all its scientific advancement technological marvel, the monks see humanity being veiled into a mad descent into darkness. Where promises lure you into sheer contempt. But still they hope........... AGAIN A MASTERPIECE. THOUGHTS & IMAGINATION JUST FLOW IN THIS MUSIC.

@@giantlobsterboy644 "The movie was so good and so frustrating at the same time." The best comment I've read about the 2021 version. Visually very good but SO many things frustrated me about it. The sex swamp of Liet was one of them. I hate the Chani actress -- terrible. The Sardaukar in the attack on Dune were not disguised as Harkonnens which is in exact opposition to what the Emperor wanted -- to keep his involvement in the attack hidden from the Landsraad. There are other things. The one thing that I think this version did the best of them all is the ornithopters. They were great. My favorite version of Dune is the 2000 SciFi version. It had a MUCH lower budget than the others but it stuck closest to Herbert's vision.

As far as book inspiration, the Bene Tleilax aren't really mentioned in great depth until the books "Heretics of Dune" and "Chapterhouse: Dune" and then some more in the House prequel books...but there's a lot to get ideas from in those. As far as a general overview, their society feels like a weird mix of corporate and quasi-Middle Eastern culture, but heavily industrialized and with an emphasis on chemical and biological manipulation. Not quite as oppressively industrial as the Harkonnen home planet, but nearly. More of a mad scientist sort of feeling than doom-stage industrial capitalism.
