If you watch the speed during the entry burn it only went from like 4,600 Kph to like 4,400 kph. I’m telling ya, I bet we see them eliminate entry burns on these ISS rtls flights

@@harmonicajohn1059 on Starlink 6-34 the last drone ship landing from the cape the booster slowed from 8,000kph to 5,500kph during entry burn. During this flight they slowed from 4,600kph to 4,400kph. I’m a bit skeptical that they even need to do an entry burn on lower energy flights like this.

@@Papershields001 without an entry burn , in the upper atmosphere, it would have increased speed to an unmanageable velocity…. Pretty sure they thought about how much E/B they needed…. At what throttle setting…. After all… it’s rocket science.

Im struck by how the SpaceX announcers feel like they have to explain every mission control callout, to the point they step on 1/2 of them, and can’t even form a coherent sentence. Wish they’d just let us listen.

Yeah and even people that may have watched launches before may not remember certain callouts or they just noticed some of them for the first time so it's always good to refresh those. Same way we always point out the steps of the count, the T-20min vent, all the stuff.

The announcers no longer broadcast with Starlink launches. But SpaceX has also decreased the number of cameras you can watch the launch with. Now it’s just the pad cam, 3/4 cameras on the rocket, and the landing pad/drone ship camera.

Maybe someone will see this comment and respond here. What does it mean to gift a red team membership, i.e. how can a pad rat like me take advantage of that? I see options to purchase one, but if there are memberships sitting out there free, I'd be all over it.

So if you gift during a live you are buying a membership for someone who is regularly on KZbin watching who don't have a membership. It's really nice to be able to buy someone else a membership .I use it often. Because a fair amount of people including kids who wouldn't be able to afford a membership I am able to support NSF more while being able to buy memberships for a month for a randomly chosen person in the live.

NASA has almost nothing to do with this mission. The launch was conducted by SpaceX. The flight itself was organized by and is being controlled by, Axiom Space, although SpaceX owns the capsule, and the mission is being paid for by three different European governments. NASA's only involvement is that they are one of the controlling parties of the destination facility, the ISS.
