SpaceX accuracy and consistency is absolutely next level. There is no one in the space industry even close to what SpaceX can do and accomplish. You would think our government and the president would give more praise to this American company even the Electric vehicle company gets no attention. So sad. Go SpaceX! Every time I watch these launches I'm absolutely amazed. It just seems like it's just another day on the Launchpad.

A land-based landing for the booster is probably way more cost effective for Space X bringing the costs down even further. I wonder what the 'actual costs' for SpaceX is to launch these four guys and girls ? I bet it is pretty more economical than NASA way of doing it.. (compare to shuttle launches)

That was a three engine landing burn. NOT a normal landing. It was going 1,000 KPH straight down at 1 KM up as the engines started. That is some brutal deceleration right there. 270 tons of thrust with a landing weight of about 20 tons. Over 10 Gs.

Unlike popular believe Space is much much much bigger than you think. There's approximately 1 million space debris ranging from 1-10cm orbiting earth. Take the earth surface and evenly place 1 million people throughout the surface of earth. They will never see each other. And that's just a two dimensional space. The higher you're the more space there is, so we won't be on Wall-E scenario anytime soon

What is your evidence that they are not? What even is your definition for "outer space"? The atmosphere becomes thinner fluently, so it is impossible to say where it ends. The most used defintion at 100 km is more or less arbitrary. and the pen begins to float around when the rocket stops the engine so the spacecraft begins to fall/drift/move only by its momentum, it is the exact same effect as on a zero G airplane, and also in the ISS and has nothing to do with "space". The problem with all you "sceptical" people is, that you think that "space" is something special. It is not. There is no reason why you believe that a rocket can reach a certain altitude as long as it counts as "not space", but you don't believe it when it reaches and altitude that counts as "space". We should just stop using the term "space", it just leads to misconceptions.
