Thailand doesn’t have a ocean the Andaman Sea borders the southwestern coastline of Thailand. It is part of the eastern Indian Ocean and lies west of Thailand’s southern region, near popular destinations like Phuket, Krabi, Phi Phi Islands, and Trang. While Pattaya faces the Gulf of Thailand in the east, the Andaman Sea is on the opposite side of the country.
