This anime goes full circle. Literally, like, they literally go back to the beginning, it’s poetic, this scene is even as poetic, as the scene gives us shots of the building where it all started, without the time machine that crashed on the roof, or the time machine that landed on it, and we get to see the two characters interacting like they did in another timeline, how? Because their love transcended through time, through space, through fate, and surpassed Steins Gate, as told by Okabe himself in S;G 0, “This is the choice of Hououin Kyouma!”

Untill now I haven't understood this yet. The thing is that perhaps she could remember the most important memories, like she on the Akihabra bridge, on the lab or maybe the kiss. But. I think a person is not totally the same if he or she has not got ALL his or her memories. I don't know if I'm expressing myself well, but, if Kurisu doesn't remember like what she did the, IDK, the 7th of August at 6 pm, or what she thought in a concrete moment, she could not be the same person Okabe met. I am talking about the small things which characterize someone. If she hasn't got those, she can't be the same :( This is not for being hater, but for feeling really sad You want to talk and, like, continue your life with a friend, family or lover because of everything (all the "data") you've "created" and lived up to now. I'm going to be that guy today; The interesting part of Steins;Gate 0 is how many find it kind of boring as a series compared to the original - which in my opinion, seemed like the whole point. As he accepted Kurisu's death, Okabe's life was completely drained of all color. He finally gave up. He got up on his feet again, sure, but deep inside, he felt it was all his fault. He could've done something - anything. But he tried, right? He just gave up completely, and we're talking about a normally energetic and quirky person here. The beauty of 0 was how it so perfectly showed us what depression does to someone. Everything is pointless, you just glide through the days. Nothing more. You just want things to pass, instead of enjoying those things and getting some meaning out of them. Unless you break out of the horribly tangled circle you've been stuck in for years, it'll be over. And with your death, comes absolutely no relief - because you're not alive to know what that is anymore. However, Okabe had a spark, something that made him realize what really mattered and how it fueled his love for himself and others. He broke out of it, and he knew exactly what to do. That's why it's beautiful - because even if you are at your absolute lowest, something can suddenly give you the means to change. Which of course, comes from within. Isn't it ironic? The thing that has tormented you for years - your own mind - was the very thing that saved you in the end. And you wonder; "why did I let this much time pass? How could I not realize what I had? I've had my head stuck in the sand for so long, but for what? I know what matters to me now, but I will never get that time back." And you are left thinking about how you got consumed by yourself for the rest of your life. Even if it all got better, eventually. It really is a terribly sad thing. But, I also think there's a beauty to such suffering. How someone can be so broken inside, how they can't see a shred of light in anything... until they just do. That never ceases to amaze me.

This is one of the VERY few scenes that got my in the feels, it managed to give me that heavy throat feeling. But no anime has made my shed a tear yet :P Yes, I have watched Angel Beats and Clannad, didn't give a shit about any of the characters, I was wondering when the sad part was meant to be when I finished them both.

This show and Dark (netflix) really change my perspective and little bit confusing me about time and travelling, so abstract but feel so real at the same time, both of them are great show and i think this ending is really satisfying and still can't moving on from it ❤😅

To this day idk why some people say ep 22's ending is the more appropriate and true ending and this is all a "fanservice" ending just to please audiences. Everything in ep 23 was set up from episode 1, so to leave it at 22 naturally leaves the story incomplete. Sure even with the convenient magic video that just happens to come save the day with the answer to reach SG, it all makes sense anyway within the limit of the story. Even if the Okabe we've been following was given a convenient happy ending.. just by looking at that video you know despite his future self still acting chuuni.. he's been through worse and seen some shit that OG Okabe can't even comprehend. That finding that happy ending wasn't easy. It took 15 years. So either way you just know (even without SG0) that everything was rightfully earned. For all they did, both OG Okabe and Zero Okabe deserved the happy ending they wanted.

@@Filimaua13 then why okabe went in the past to save mayuri and suzuha when it was anyway going to end.
@Filimaua134 жыл бұрын
@@raghavgoyal8697 Cos no matter what.. Okabe doesn't leave his friends to die. That just isn't his character. It doesn't matter if the worldline will shift and it will never have happened. These people mean everything to him. With every single version of them.. he isn't gonna abandon. Technically the worldline wouldn't have been shifted to Steins Gate for another 11 years when Suzuha would time travel to 2010 to carry out the plan. He also did it cos he promised Kagari he would bring Mayuri back. You can also think of it as him wanting to do something as he left 2025 to deceive convergence. He was fated to die in 2025 so he wasn't gonna be able to return.. so why not do something heroic as one last middlle finger to convergence.
@raghavgoyal86974 жыл бұрын
@@Filimaua13 I agree, but ya there are many different theories that people say like he couldn't go back to future as the reading Steiner will activate and can cause trouble for St World line. But this is also not sure though. According to me the characters of 0 world line have all performed there tasks so they will vanish like Suzuha in S1. Because according to Ova ep and movie, okabe doesn't remember anything about 0 world line
