For next time [if not patch], a pot of something can go into a freezer and you get a replacement pot on the stand, but still have the pot in the freezer.

Controversial opinion here! I personally am a big fan of soups because they all start from the same broth, you can store the entire pot in a freezer (and get an extra pot) or freeze the portions in the frozen prep station. Having a huge variety of soups is much easier to manage than it sounds because the way the game works is this: Every table will always order a starter but not every person at the table will order one. This scales well with increased group sizes. Every table will not always order dessert, but if they do, every person in the table will order one. This works best with individual dining, but makes increased group sizes much harder to deal with. As for what main to go for, I recommend pies! If you can get a system going that precooks ALL pie crusts, you can store these precooked crusts in frozen prep stations and then cooking the actual pie will go MUCH faster *and* it will scale well into cherry and apple pie for dessert, since those require precooked crusts anyway. Since you guys like having 2 people in the kitchen, I recommend for this setup to have 1 person in charge of keeping the precooked crusts always stocked, and maybe helping out with starters or dishwashing during free time, while the other person in the kitchen takes the precooked crusts and fills+cooks them to order (and can also do starters while the crusts are cooking).

Just letting you guys know the rugs actually don't catch on fire themselves. They just catch fire faster than any other item, but only if there is already a fire nearby!

a rug will not spontaneously combust, but fire that is already present will spread to it quicker, so keep it away from danger hobs, but otherwise do place rugs next to your hobs

I love PlateUp! and I love watching you guys playing it! Now playing four players does make it wa~ay harder than it would be playing solo or duo. However I still think the best option, if you want to go as far as possible and trying automating things as much as you can, is coffee. Now coffee on it's own doesn't make a lot of money but it is easy to automate and if you use the "booking desk" (phone) to get a lot of money you shouldn't run into money issues unless Aenne spends it all on rugs... again 😉 If you don't want to do coffee then other options you could try is hamburgers, hotdogs (avoid too many condiments one is fine two or more is trouble), pies and pizza are all good options. Look up what cards you might want to avoid, as an example if you go with hamburgers avoid the "fresh paddies" card at all cost since it is awful to hand make each one. I have played solo and I can pretty much always reach overtime which isn't that difficult but since you play 4 player the difficulty scaling goes up quite dramatically compared to 2 player. Which means the longer you go the harder it is going to be to survive each day since the scaling increases the amount of groups you get each day. Make sure to use as big of a map as possible even if the layout is meh and make sure to use more tables. I think if you had more tables, even if it was just one or two, you could have survived one or two more days with the same set up as it was when you lost. Pot shortage is something I have run into many times myself and they can be hard to find. When it comes to re-rolling the blueprints, wait as long as possible until you do it and save the money. Also don't re-roll if you have 3 or less blueprints on the ground it is not worth it. One last tip I can give that might help, since you guys play 4 players, is to never take a starter dish (e.g soup) but instead take desert dishes instead, why? Usually the biggest slowdown is waiting for customers to eat their main dish and a starter, as the name suggest, goes before the main dish which makes it take longer to serve them their main dish so that they can begin leaving, clearing space for the next group. On top of that I swear a starter dish, such as carrot soup, is almost guaranteed to be asked for where as a desert (e.g coffee, ice cream etc.) is quite random if they want it or if they just leave after finishing their main dish. Sorry about the wall of text but you, Ash, quite literally asked for it... so here we are! 😘

IF you guys want to, there is a mod that lets you dump the water in the sink. The trash dumping is illogical and ridiculous so my friends and I use the mod to dump water in sink and don't consider it cheating. Also rug ONLY catches fire if you start a fire from over cooking something on danger hob or microwave

The base game doesn't let you put the water in the sink? I've only watched one other streamer accidentally come across being able to do that and wasn't sure.

You should try the Picnic modded scenario! It's similar to the Autumn scenario (where every card adds more menu items), but instead of increasing group size, it shuffles the four course types together. For example, if you have both Steak (an entree) and Mashed Potatoes (a side) then customers may order a single mashed potato as their entree, or steak with a side of steak, etc.

I didn't like stir-fries because they didn't look appetizing. But when I saw Ash in this video, I thought lasagna would be difficult too. Pizza looks good and I think it's relatively easy to make. I enjoy to watch all anyway. (⋈◍＞◡＜◍)。✧♡

On the meat soup, you don't have to chop the meat, true, however it'll cook faster if you do.
