Pinterest is a good place to find one pot meals as well. I found one similar to this. It was made with tomatoes, onions, spinach, mushrooms, and chicken broth. There were a couple more ingredients as well but those are what I remember. It was so delicious. Just remember that you're the star of your kitchen. Add and subtract to your preference. My go to is to follow a recipe the way it's written one time and then do what I want after that 😂 baking though you need to be pretty precise

Cornbread and spaghetti was unknown & unheard of to me 15 minutes ago lol but I am always open to trying new things out. That's why I enjoy watching your vids, you inspire me! After watching this one, I made the mistake of reading others comments. I get we're all allowed to our own opinions, but Jeez! There's a difference between sharing an opposing opinion and just being snotty and downright rude. I get that if the combination is new to someone, it may seem odd but it doesn't mean it's wrong or even gross. I try to stay open minded, you never know when your going to discover a new fave. I grew up eating spaghetti this way. I know a lot of people who do this, it’s so good 😊 A southern thing. It’s an ole school thing! Why all the hate? I was a 70’s kid. We ate what we had, and made good food, I still eat it today and my Boys do too! Thank You Mama for reviving an ole school style dinner. I’m Hungry 🤤

Everyone's a critic. This looks like a delicious and easy meal, not everything has to be gourmet or cooked the "traditional" way, sometimes we just need some uncomplicated, low stress cooking that we can still Look forward to. I would be very happy with this meal and will probably try my own version of it. One pot dishes are the best!

My mom made her spaghetti this way and I've always cooked it this way as well. Now my daughters carry on the tradition. So glad there are others that make it this way too! I love it this way because the spaghetti noodles absorb the flavor of the sauce. My father in-law, who hated spaghetti, loved mine. I miss him dearly.

My Dad was our cook when I grew up. He fixed spaghetti with meat sauce all cooked together like you do and cornbread on the side. I’ve never seen anyone else serve cornbread with spaghetti. Brings back memories. (PS - no sugar in cornbread. 😉) Also, if you preheat the skillet, you will have a crispy crust.

I just did this last night! But...I sautéed onion and celery, added burger, cooked then added a big can of crushed tomato instead of the store-bought stuff. That way I control the seasonings and salt content. Still turns out yummy!

I made this last night for my daughter’s birthday and it was really good. The noodles soaked up the flavor of the sauce and meat - amazing. I tweaked the spices to my family’s preference but still used everything she did. I also doubled the recipe and did more of a slow cooked version of it so the flavors infused with the noodles longer. It was perfect.

Thanks for sharing this delicious looking meal. Never thought of having cornbread with spaghetti. I essentially do the same thing but in the instant pot. Cooking the spaghettini with the meat & sauce gives it so much flavor. I’ll never go back to boiling the pasta in water again.

In all my years of making spaghetti, I have never thought to make it this way with adding the water into the sauce and then the pasta and cooking it all together. I have always cooked them separately and dirtied two pans. There have been times I have passed on making spaghetti because I didn't have a second pan available at that moment. This is genius! I make cornbread in my skillet as well! Preheat your cast iron skillet prior to dumping batter and you’ll get a crispy edge on your cornbread. I’ve never had corn bread with spaghetti. I’d definitely try it though! I just wouldn’t add as much sugar. I don’t like mine super sweet.

I pretty much make spaghetti the same way. I do like taking out the meat once it's browned. Then use the grease to cook some chopped onion, garlic, and tomato paste. After that. Just toss everything back into the pot. Meat, tomato sauce, seasonings, and beef broth(optional). Water works perfectly fine. Keep stirring til it starts to simmer then add the pasta. And bam. Nice big pot of spaghetti.

Looks yummy, if you let the skillet get hot in the oven while it preheats, you will get a nice crispy crust on your cornbread.
