Yuri is not actually a yandere : It's just that Monika edited her file, turning her into a insane-like girl so that MC doesn't come to like her. She's really a nice caring and shy girl. Plus, in the original game, she often says to us that "she feels becoming strange or something" and that she really "isn't like that".

You either run, break out the martial arts training, show off your parkour skills, etc. Shit, if Yuri was trying to drug me, I’d literally parkour my ass out of the classroom and impress her even more. Or I’d try to scare her with something fake like, “You really want to drug a man who’s mastered his training in the Navy Seals, having confirmed more than 500 kills with his mastered riflemen training, along with 50+ hand to hand combat kills with nothing but his bear hands and a combat knife?.” Obviously that’s false but it might do some good. We all know Yuri’s personality, heck, she probably has no knowledge of martial arts based on her personality. I doubt it’d be hard for anyone to escape being drugged by her, unless it was a complete surprise that literally came out of nowhere.
