We are already the highest spender/gdp in NATO for 2022 with 3.54% of GDP while the US has 3.46% followed by Lithuania with 2.47%. Realistically speaking it should be enough to deter an attack from Turkey, as we will also receive massive support from our many allies, just like Ukraine did.

greece in 2022-2023 modernized its military both in airforce and ground forces. I guess the investments will start showing the next years.They are waiting new antibalistic systems from israel,F-35 from USA and 7(i think)one the latest frigates from france.They also modernized the basic equipment for soldiers and changed all the old tanks with leopards from germany. Greek military has become really scary if you consider that the country is only populated by 10m people.Just think that they just started making their own weapons the last two years(submarines,drones and non personell attack vehicles).

The only advantage spain has is economy. In s war you need to support your weapons with ammunition and repair kits etc. Greece has the weapons,but how much ammo Greece has???????? Greece has the most modern leopard multiple pariot systems uses f16 viper and Rafale and soon f35 It has the most modern German 214 submarines and from 2023 it will use the most modern frigates, the French Belchars, which are the best in the world. In trade market EU regulated Greece to reduce production in its agricultural products and its exports towards EU. Has EU done the same with Turkey? Of course not because it doesn't belong in the Union. Spain and Italy are selling way more weaponry to Turkey than to Greece. Even towards the crisis of 2020 the spanish minister (I think the defense one) visited Turkey. It is not a fair for my country to obey to agricultural reduction then EU countries are selling Turkey more weapons, Germany included, and Greece has to spend even more for its defense when you decided to reduce my agriculture therefore my income as country, got my point now?
