Thanks for another helpful “can”-do recipe! Most people don’t like to receive Spam, but I like it diced up in fried rice, a stir fry, or even in curry. My mom would mix brown sugar with melted butter. The sliced spam was added to the mixture and fried in a skillet. When I was a child, my mother would make it that way and I recall liking it. Since then, I haven't had it like that, so I'm uncertain if I would still like it.

I like spam occaonally, I like to fry it so it has a crisp outside and usually, we eat it as a sandwich or on toast, but the bowl you got there looks really yummy, you could add anything to it really, like an omelet or breakfast taco in a bowl, could add salsa and sour cream or sauteed mushrooms and onions or anything really.

When I was a young child, we visited a friend of my Mothers and she made us lunch, white bread, Mayo and sliced up “uncooked” spam. lol It was different for us, but it was good. 😆 My parents always sliced it and fried it, and made spam gravy with toast.

Hi Penny & dad (Mr. George 🥰) If you place spam in a bowl with cold water for awhile it will remove some of the salt, or buy low sodium spam. Spam is very good as a sandwich with mayonnaise, lettuce, tomatoes, and ❤ love. FUN FACT: In Hawaii spam is given as gifts. Almost seven million cans of Spam are eaten in Hawaii every year, more than in any other state, according to Hormel, I bet you can get some great ideas on preparing spam by checking out Hawaii spam recipes or something like that… Your review of spam was great. Hi Penny, hi Daddy George. Yes I love spam and Penny I can just slice it and eat it raw. That's how much I love it. But I like it better on a sandwich and I eat it cold. I put cold spam on bread with miracle whip and tomatoes and I like fried spam sandwiches with or without egg. I like either Mayo or miracle whip or mustard on my spam sandwiches, spam, spam, spam. LOL I love it!😂

I love spam and breakfast is my favorite outside of most seafood and a nice grilled filet mignon. I love libbys Vienna sausages with eggs too. If you never tried the turkey one it's pretty close tasting to the original and I get the lower sodium one too. Taste exactly the same I swear

Hey Penny, I just read an article that was posted recently about the best burgers in every state and the best burger for the state of Ohio was believe it or not in the town of Columbus, the burger is called The Classic, and the place is called, Preston’s. Enjoyed the review. Spam is such an underrated product. Should Rince before cooking, it removes some of the salt. Spam is basically all pork. I enjoy it once in a while. So many different ways to use it. Also, not very expensive. God Bless you both.

My wife makes a killer Spam stew, with carrots, potato, celery. You don't need to add salt because of the sodium in spam. My we are Hawaiian and eat a lot of spam. Spam musubi is the best for a snack or whatever.

@@pennystwocents - That’s funny you should ask. I don’t usually shop for myself, due to my health issues. I did just order the maple Spam, with lots of great reviews. I think it would be good fried , with eggs. I’ll let you know what I think of it when I get it. I have to ask you or any of your subscribers. Have you ever heard of Restless Leg Syndrome? I’ve had it for years, but it has suddenly got a lot worse. I was up from 2:30-5:30 this morning with it. A constant creepy crawling feeling in my legs and as awful. I’m going to be selfish.
