SPAMMING putback dunks on NBA 2K25

To make the case stronger that Putback dunking is all about dunking attributes and not on rebounding attribute: Even from the past years up to now, slashers that have low offensive rebound attribute but with high Driving dunk rating do a lot driving putback dunks while builds with high rebound ratings but low on dunking attributes can't usually do a putback. Dunk attributes are the major factors.

Honestly feels easier as a guard than with a big man which is so dumb. Guards can put you straight into canned animations while bigs damn near have to be wide open under the basket to get a putback dunk

Standing dunks with the meter felt so good on big men last year too, now everyone gets them with just a button press even on guards. They removed alot of finesse from interior scoring this year, I don’t like it

​@@MrZablonthat's cap I played guard last year and this year you could get moving standing dunks from farther away last year so many of the would be standing dunks this year are layups I never had more than a 40-45 standing dunk on any of my guard builds and it WAY worse this year in comparison.

@@East3086 shouldn’t be the case when guys are right up on the rim. Of course tires proves it’s super important but realistically it should rebounding and dunk testing mixed with positioning. Instead the game super favorably rewards speed and dunk to the point you see guards dunking it more than they should be if you watch games in real life which the game is to a degree trying to simulate so it does matter and devs have said as much

@@YoDuffin It's a good badge. It think part of the reason ppl are missing a lot of dunks and getting thrown out of animations is cause of Immovable Enforcer. It helps on the perimeter and interior

Another guy did a video for strong handles (SH) vs immovable enforcer (IE). Sweet spot was gold IE because it would stop HOF SH the overwhelming majority of the time. However, legend IE is needed to truly stop legend SH. HOF IE was beat by legend SH almost every time.

Should try testing the calculation for a Floater Rating! I remember them saying it’s a certain mixture of Close Shot and Layup, but we don’t know the exact mixture.

it's not a mixture, standing floaters in the paint go off close shot and running floaters go off your layup rating

It would be cool if you could find the stat required for the animation point from driving and standing dunk to initiate a putback dunk. Including seeing if any other stats or the badge helps boost those dunking attributes to make it possible

@@T4I2I0agility is what makes you feel responsive to your stick movements, like being able to instantly move as opposed to a sluggish turn around. this means you can put yourself into better position way faster for rebounds, blocks, putbacks, etc. with a higher agility.

Holding square will sometimes give you a rebound animation instead of a put back, but are they worse rebound animations than pressing triangle? Or else there isn’t much of a point of pressing triangle if you have aerial wizzard at a high level, you should just go for putbacks

Another good video Tutes. Can you do a test on the impact of weight/strength on immovable enforcer and strong handles. My 5’9 185 build with gold strong handle doesn’t get nearly as much push animations as my 6’3 225lb build. Keep up the solid work bro!

@ eventually yes but I also used my max +1 to put my 5’9 build to HOF strong handle and the result is the same. The heavier/stronger build is more effective. It’s makes logical sense but 2k often doesn’t care for logic lol.

Can you please do the 'Custom Playbooks' in Play Now Online? It's so annoying to have to go through the Offensive Settings every game to assign specific plays on that teams play book. Can you also look into why sometimes in Play Now Online, it will completely reset or just randomly change your defensive settings like coverage to gap when you always set it to smother, etc.?

It’s goofy. I struggle sometimes too. Sometimes I’ll pull one off where I’m super surprised the animation played out, especially in congested traffic situations. Other times I’m super confident it’ll work and I’m stuck mistiming a layup. Very frustrating

Dunks are trash this year that's why anything past 89/90 driving dunk is useless 😂 idk how many ppl I play everyday with 96 driving and they have never put me on a poster or barely see them take in like past 2ks.. they get their dunks by usually fast breaks or wide open

it's really hard to get that threshold because your momentum, positioning, opponenent's stats and badges, etc. will be factored in.

I got a 70 dunk and bronze aerial. Havent gotten a dunk putback yet only layups. I think it’s still possible though cuz i have started animations that look like a dunk. Just didn’t get the putback

I use 80 defensive rebound on 7’0 center and can go board for board against builds with 99 Reb or even out rebound them all you have to do is make sure to keep position and box out every time
