Its funny cause I stopped playing card games in general a long time ago. Used to watch Disguise Toast alot but he doesn't Hearthstone anymore.

It's because people can constantly steal your best minions it's total RNG now I'm not sure how anyone climbs the ladder these days. Must be a nightmare for new players getting their board renoed or their win condition stolen most games.

I've been playing a variant of this deck with a few tweaks (cut some of the weirder minions, threw in a few secrets) and have gone 10-15 with it. Zilliax Warrior's definitely the toughest matchup because they just have more Zilliaxes than you have minions, but not entirely unwinnable. The other hard matchups are decks that can go under you, namely Pirate DH/Shaman, Pain Warlock, and Flood Paladin. If you can't set up an explosive trap at the right time versus those, you will just lose. The deck lacks any way to heal as well, which is a problem against aggro and spell mage, since they can kill over your taunt minions and can freeze you to stall Thunderbringer going down. I've been playing with adding Stone Drake, a 6 mana 2/8 Elemental with Lifesteal, Taunt, Divine Shield, and Elusive to counteract that but haven't played enough games with it to speak to its efficacy yet. Fun deck when it works, though.

I love playing hunter but every hunter deck I try really lets me down. You can summon 5 hundred beasts with 20 attack and health but that doesn’t matter when the warrior opponent has 6 zilliaxes, or has brawl, or sanitize. I think I hate this game now

Or Pirate Demon Hunter/Pain warlock kills you in turn 5 , or Elemental shaman otks you, or lamper rogue, or you get overwhelmed by flood paladin. Or you pick vs a druid and you can just concede. The power creep is to high at this moment imo, the only balanced class is dk, the rest are to strong or to weak(hunter)

Check out the new "Tourist" mechanic. In this latest Perils of Paradise card release, each class has a Tourist of one other class (Warrior Tourist in the case of Hunter). The Tourist lets you add the new Perils of Paradise released cards from that other class to your deck. Really cool mechanic, opened up a lot more deck building synergies!

He has ranger gilly in deck, which is a Warrior Tourist card. Tourist cards enable you to add card from the tourist class to your deck, in this case, Warrior cards to Hunter deck.
