For anyone considering having a $900 steak after watching this video - I'd recommend not to. Gold leaf is CHEAP - that meat was from Aus (we breed some of the best beef in the world) but for $900, if it's not coming from Japan it's a hard pass. For $900 you could get a webber, coal and duck down to Meat Emporium for some of the best meat you'll find and have change left over. Things like this exist on menu's to target the young and dumb who want to flex on Instagram but to anyone who actually appreciates beef for what it is, and is a little cluey, you'd get laughed at. Also that tomahawk is undercooked. Everyone has a preference but anything with decent marbling should be cooked medium - medium rare(ish) at the most. The longer cook time gives the inter muscular fat time to render down and tastes even better.

that last steak probably costed max $150 for them to make so $900 is insane idc how rich you are bc that is just fried. the gold leaf is the cheapest component of the steak and its probably why it costs so much, only for aesthetic reasons since it has no flavour or any real benefit to eating it. it's just crazy but the actual steak looks absolutely gun i cant deny that.
