Why should we pay cash everywhere with banknotes instead of a card? - I have a $50 banknote in my pocket. Going to a restaurant and paying for dinner with it. The restaurant owner then uses the bill to pay for the laundry. The laundry owner then uses the bill to pay the barber. The barber will then use the bill for shopping. After an unlimited number of payments, it will still remain a $50, which has fulfilled its purpose to everyone who used it for payment and the bank has jumped dry from every cash payment transaction made.. - But if I come to a restaurant and pay for digitally - Card, bank fees for my payment transaction charged to the seller are 3%, so around $1.50 and so will the fee $1.50 for each further payment transaction or owner re laundry or payments of the owner of the laundry shop, or payments of the barber etc..... Therefore, after 30 transactions, the initial $50 will remain only $5 and the remaining $45 became the property of the bank thanks to all digital transactions and fees

You have to try the yeeros shop in Marrickville. When I was growing up as a kid in Earlwood it was the best kebab joint around. They call it yeeros, but it's more like a traditional kebab. Only difference is that the meat is like mad Greek flavored lamb and shit.

This is a Different league but one day if you get the chance, you have to try the German style Döner. There was a bloke selling them in Ryde but he had to close, fingers crossed he opens again somewhere (Berlin Food Bunker). Otherwise can’t beat getting one from the Fatherland. Personal favourite was Yede Gör Dönerbude in Düsseldorf, lived off those for a month and they were hectic.

Next time you go to Canterbury kebabs you have to try the chicken burgers. The burgers are what made the place famous around the area. My aunty lives around the corner and I've been there many times. The chicken burgers are hectic.

When moving i was worried about how the Arab community was and the restaurants as well, so I was sceptical first trying them. Years later and they’re defs one of my top spots.

A few decent kebab shops, Arab butcher, a couple of large fruit shops that also sell some of the middle eastern staples we love and if you still can't find something then Casula/Liverpool is a short drive away. I'm closer to Southern Highlands now and there is almost nothing like that available but I still drive through the old hood on my way home from work to pick up essentials!
