“That’s how I did it! One minute rapping, next minute flying around the world.” I feel like Spanian can change the culture there with these young lost brothers. He’s been there, done that. These kids are growing up lost, trying to prove something, but Spanian’s showed them there’s another way.

In this instance I would say there r way better role models. Many indigenous people have done serious time often over s'thing trivial cos of mandatory sentencing & 3 strikes ur out type laws. There r many indigenous people, many elders & others in the community that (like spanian) have been thru the system & come out better with a goal of helping others. I wish we saw more of those people but I guess they're too busy actively helping & not chasing likes on you tube.

*Why would he help them ? They get everything and more than normal people from the Government and they still just blow it on drugs and alcohol. There's no helping them when they don't want to help themselves. They are also rude and racist. Old mate trying to get Spanian shoes is a perfect example of the entitlement they think they deserve. It's sickening. It's worse than sickening, it's unpatriotic. Spanian had nothing and turned his life around but they won't because they are lazy and would rather steal other peoples shit they have worked hard for and it's getting worse as there are no consequences. Just a slap on the wrist and they just keep doing it again and again.💯*

As a dad to young fellas in Palmerston it can make you nervous knowing that it can get hectic. There are alot of good kids that just need good mentors and stable home. Big respect to Riley P, YMCA, sports clubs and youth support workers that are trying to give positive guidance. N.T government needs to throw more funding to youth engagement, AOD and rehab facilities. Ice is a big issue. They need to stop denying the issue. Thanks Spanian for giving a voice to them.

Riley is breaking the code. He wants to see change and he is actively recruiting that change. These areas of Australia can only take so much torment until a wave of change occurs and I hope we see this in the near future, especially with Riley's influence. Spanien, you are opening up new perspectives for these young kids and teenagers. The older guys in this video seem to be on the right track because they are learning from their mistakes and want to see change now too. It also goes to show that out of all the people you interacted with, there was only 1 bad-egg who put his hands on you. That one negative interaction can influence people to never go to certain places in the world. However, in perspective, it was one negative interaction which was overshadowed by hundreds of positive ones. The respect shown between Spanian and everybody in the video was easily observed.

What work? He came, rubbished where they live & gave a few handshakes. That's not enough 2 break the cycle of violence, addiction, racism, generational trauma & all other types of violence & mistreatment. & believe me, most of these young ones have been thru it even if they don't realise. These people need more than a handshake & "u can do it too" platitudes. More $ needs 2 b spent on programs giving them life skills. Teach em how 2 look after horses, work on a farm etc etc. Education is the easiest way out of these situations but sadly it often isnt a priority.

Awesome video. From the start they all touched my heart and I hope they stay safe and keep out of jail. You bring the best out of the people of the hood for sure. That lad in a wheelchair nearly had me balling my eyes out, life changing in a split second. All the hoods I have watched you go through all over the world have one thing in common, there is very little to do to occupy growing minds to keep them occupied and satisfy their need for acceptance and guidance in society. Crime and drugs would not be so prevalent if their time was spent doing programmes and sports to nurture them. It’s bad mad and sad that apart from the YMCA no one is offering them good role models and showing that life is about choices, and good choices is better than prison, drugs and an uncertain future. You made their faces light up and by the end it was plain to see. God bless you all and I wish all the prosperity in the world so they can change their life’s journey to a positive path away from suffering and pain. Much love & *virtual hugs* Happy Christmas ❤❤❤

The exposure Spanian provides is so brutal, so honest, so raw, and so utterly brilliant. A new generation, a new mob, neglected even more than the previous ones. Yet with just a little bit of love, guidance and wisdom from people they can TRUST, their energy knows no bounds. For now their energy is poorly devoted more often than not. Because the system laughs at them, and offers them so little, if anything at all. More elders, more youth centres, more pillars of the community who give a shit. Riley P’s, Spanian’s, etc. Brothers who have been institutionalised, and who can teach the new generation that this isn’t any kind of life, and that money is their future. These lads CAN move forward if enough people give a shit. God bless them all. They deserve so much better. 🙏🏻

Man Northern Territory is the craziest place i've worked as a paramedic. Stabbings, Spearings, murders, huge car accidents etc. No other state in Australia compares to NT. I wish you went to Tenant Creek Brother, that joint is so much worse than Alice Springs. I still argue the NT has the sickest beaches and national parks in Australia Though.

Maybe joining the Christmas choir or church turned life around for you, but gangster rap music & art is what gets our type of young fella's off the streets, drugs, alcohol, & away from crime & prison & turns their life around. Rapping is music, art & an outlet which then gives them a different purpose & doors with opportunity start opening up for them , & then self worth returns & a bigger picture creates a bigger life for them, that would have never been possible or even known to them. So many hood gangsters in Sydney led by Spanian have broken out of the hood & jail life & turned their lives around like a spinning top. All through smashing gangster rap bars & writing the music from their heart & raw life experience in the hoods of Sydney, check out maybe Kerser, Huskii, skeamo & Nter👍. These boys are now flying, fucking grouse to see wasted jail talent now flying high out here, these boys are stars & Spanian the best👍.

I grew up in Grey and went to Driver High School ( now Palmerston High School). When I grew up there was only four suburbs Grey, Driver, Mouldern and Woodroffe, one bus, one set of shops which we called up top (where the water tower was when the video first started) I lived in the flats they went to on Cornwallis Street Spanian said looked abandoned.I got an opportunity that saved my life and I got a scholarship to attend a private school down south ( yr 11 & 12 ) as we call it going to Adelaide SA. I graduated high school, then university becoming a lawyer, I have travelled the world but I will never forget where I came from. I go back every couple of years to visit my family and pretty much ground myself. The thing.about places like this is when you're living there growing up in it, its all you know and nothing else exists. People can comment all they want but I worked my ass off to get out of that place and still cant believe how lucky I was to get that scholarship and leave.

From the age of about 10-17 this was me and my friends going around in a gang in our hood. Thank God I got out of there and sorted my life out! Can't imagine me still being stuck there in my 20s or 30s still roaming the streets! It's not a life worth living in my opinion. When you have kids you want better for them also! To anyone who feels like you can't get out there is light at the end if the tunnel! Even though it might seem hard sometimes walking away is the best choice you could ever make! Being stuck in that same environment stuck around the same people not going anywhere in life can bring you down and sometimes you need to do what's best for you.

The high mesh fences are actually for cyclone reasons. Air passes through the mesh in high winds instead of sending your panels airborne. It will also stop debris flying into your windows. That fencing is even standard in the good areas of Darwin.

Turned out a guy went nuts looking for someone with a 12-gauge shotgun and murdered 4 people and injured others. Faaark, I’d just been walking around the very streets where this crazy c..t was. Can’t say I’ve been in a rush to go back there but otherwise seemed like a pretty sleepy town backin 2019.
