A grayed out picture of a man with a crown of thorns on his head. I in no way intended on offending anyone. And if it is any consolation I am the black male in the left of my profile pic. I try to learn Spanish, and learn more from the Bible, both are important for me, I bought Spanish Bible, however, I've a new translation, and the videos that I've listend when at the same time I've read my Spanish Bible tend to have old translation, it however dosent disturb me much, one learns how the same thing can be said in many ways, also in Spanish. I also have Septuaginta, Vulgata, I've read them both, English translation (King James version), which I've also completed, three different Finnish translations, my native language, the newist translation I've read 101 times, a German translation I've, it's not completed, and a Russian Bible I just bought, I like Russian spoken videos, also thous of Russian Bible.

I do not think that you intended to offend anyone. However, we should not use pictures or any other religious image or object only because we like the way it looks. We should only use it if we know that it is a true representation of what it is supposed to represent. And since we do not know what Jesus looked like, we should not use any images of Him because all images of Him are false. It is okay to do this with historical figures like Julius Caesar or George Washington but not with the Son of God.
