I purchased the Spanish 5 words a day book a few months ago. I haven't had time to look at it much. I will look at it more when it's time to start school. I plan to learn Spanish right along with my child.

Thanks so much for sharing. My kids (6&3) have expressed interest in languages and this is helpful. I’m learning Spanish myself and was trying to find very very simple information. Language learning here on KZbin is so overwhelming, so this is helpful for me as a beginner. I was looking for homeschool items I can use myself. The apps I’ve found so far that we enjoy are Gus on the go, Endless Spanish, and Drops.

My 11 year old wants to learn Spanish and Japanese. I told her that we should focus on one for now. She picked Spanish. I know a little, but I am definitely going to look into the 5 words a day book.

Hello, a correction. The sound for the letter "i" is like the short sound of your letter i in English. Greetings.

Also for the sound of the letter "u", it is to follow the phonetic rule when you put two "o" together, as in "igloo".

I was thinking "i" says ee like in the word see might be helpful. For example comida = coe-MEE-duh
