It started with Israel declaring independence over a territory that belonged to them in the past, later colonised, but where there was already another group of people who were not guilty for living their lives in it and building communities. Israelis migrated to this territory and didn't accept to find a solution for both parties, they only cared about themselves, claimed way more territory than the UN proposed n just started to displace civilians when rebels violently attacked them, but after that, Palestinian civilians were never allowed to return to their homes again, so they were either demolished or stolen by Israelis with approval from the government n those who tried to return were killed. That's in a nutshell how it all started. Ofc any ethnic group should be able to build or rebuild their state, but that is never how u (re)build any state or protect it not even when ur population is ethnically cleansed (like Israel's the during holocaust). When u have so many enemies u should think whether ur doing sth wrong n try to find a solution for everyone, not just make everything worse by more airstrikes n military terrorist operations. Israel only has respect for human rights that do not breach their national interests. Had it been a war only against terrorists, Israel wouldn't have used arms that destroy entire buildings and neighbourhoods n would've let people in North Gaza to return to their homes when Israel's military operations moved to the south which is not called even by Israel a safe zone anymore. When the Romans conquered the land FROM THE JEWS, the exiled most of them and renamed the land Syria palestina after the biblical enemy of the Jews, the philistins (came from the Hebrew word polshim which means invaders). When arabs colonized the entire middle east and north Africa in the 7th century, arabs first came to Israel. After ww2 when it was obvious that no one cared for the jews, the realization that a Jewish country is very much needed, and even before that, jews always longed to return to their homeland (that's the real definition of zionism btw). When the British decided to split the land to jews and arabs the jews accepted but the arabs really didn't like the idea and started to attack. (You are more than welcome to look at all the attacks by arabs on jews prior to 1948, it's a long list). The British left and the UN declared on the reestablish of the land of Israel. The next day, 5 Arab armies attacked Israel in the purpose to annihilate it, they told the arabs to evacuate so it would be easier, only they lost, and the ones that left (because they wanted all jews to die) were not allowed to return. Those that stayed became citizens with full rights.

Just to share my notion from an Israeli - We are also sad about this war, but we feel there nothing else we can do but to fight it and win it. Wars are horrible, its very bad to the people in Gaza and also very bad to many refugees we have all over Israel (south and north). The fact that war is horrible, doesn't means one shouldn't fight it, in out region of this world, being neighbors to an extreme Islamic forces has a price we are all paying. I remember once in Israel, a terrorist stole a tractor and started to kill people until he was murdered, this happened in Jerusalem , I was in Israel when that happened , people were worried , and because it’s a small country you alway find someone close that was in the moment when something is happening. Then I was watching TVE Television española , and in that moment in the news talked about what happened , and.. it was like: an innocent “Palestinian farmer” was murdered in Jerusalem today when he was working! I couldn’t believe, it ! in that moment I realized about all the manipulation and not wonder why for example a lot of people in Spain act like they do against Israel, they don’t really know, many of them don’t know anything about Israelis, about how they really are, about the culture, but they now something: Israel is not good, not respect human rights,. it’s already in their system. I believe the tree hanging upside down is an olive tree. In Israel, Olive trees are protected by law due to their significance in the Old Testament (Torah). They cannot be uprooted and removed from their spot. The olive branch is also a symbol of peace. Having the tree hanging upside down, with the roots showing, is a beautiful symbol of the current turmoil Israel is going through.

As as Israeli, I see the hate, the people who chant "from the river to the sea", "jihad", and "Intifada". Many wants the destruction of Israel. 2. It is about October 7th. We lost more than 1000 people on that terror attack, that invasion… and it’s about missing someone.. that they were taken away from us. The hurricane is what we went through that day. The sun in the end is a symbol of that as well because it happened in sunrise. And the tree is one of the trees from the party area where 260 people were murdered. The dancing is a notion to the party as well and our slogan “we will keep on dancing”.
