It doesn't make a lot of sense to maintain Lithuanian endings of "-as" as in Silverstras in English or international context. The reason is because "-as" communicates grammatical meaning of nominal case and it will be changed depending on context for instance "Silvertaras, Silvestro, Silverstrui, Silvestą, Silverstru". But because English doesn't use declinations and in every context it only uses nominal then "-as" serves no purpose and in fact only makes it sound wrong when "-as" is not declined into correct form. Thus it makes sense to simply drop the ending. Same things applies to his last name Beltė -> Belt as "-ė" again should be changed depending on context but if you are not planning to learn how to change it in correct context ("Beltė", "Beltei", "Beltę", "Belte") then it makes sense to simply drop the ending instead. And this is not a new practice - Lithuanian royals had been doing this already almost millennia ago, for example when our grand duke of Lithuania - Gediminas - when he was communicating in letters with catholic Pope John XXII - he would be signing of as "Gediminid".
