Thank you so much for this tutorial. I was wondering what your thought was for playing with ring, middle and index for the first three strings instead of using middle, index and thumb? I have watched some other tutorials using one using one finger for each string so that is what I have been practicing but I want to use what is best for this song. Do you think it matters? I don’t want to pick up any bad habits. Thank you.

That's a great question! What you're describing is a 4-finger approach to fingerstyle - and I use that all the time too! It's a good skill to have, and using it in this song is totally fine. Personally, I tend to use a 3-finger approach more often since I find it more comfortable, but I often switch back and forth from a 3-finger approach to a 4-finger approach in the same song depending on what I'm playing. Hope this helps!
