I’ve observed that Latinos who grew up in places like the US, UK, or other English speaking countries do not catch on much to Julie Anne’s mistakes. It’s probably because they each have accents that adapted to where they up and not as “unfiltered” as those in their motherland. Here in filipinas we pronounce the double "LL" as liya. For example LLAMEDO as liyamedo LLAMAS as liyamas VILLANUEVA as vilyanueva As what I've noticed our pronounciation of spanish words is much closer to the hispanics of america compared to the real spanish from spain.

Spanish pronunciation in the Philippines was like mixed with Italian pronunciation because of the Jesuit missionaries who first established schools... the letter "ll" is quite different, like for example the word horse Spanish: caballo is often read kabajoh or kabayo. Italian: cavallo - ka va loh Filipino: caballo is kabalio. Although at present it has already evolved into just kabayò. But ella is pronounced elia... everything that has letter "ll" is pronounced "lia" A combination of Spanish and Italian pronunciation. Martillo, martilio, Martillano, Martiliano, alla, alia. alli, alyi. Maybe it is an old pronunciation.
