I do like half-muffled bells though (even though it's a bittersweet sound) just as much as unmuffled bells, though.

Ringer Tim BTW, my obsession with muffles is because of Diana's funeral. (I never noticed *half-muffled* bells before that, up to then the only details I noticed about bells was pealing vs. tolling. Muffled vs. unmuffled went over my head prior to 9/6/97)
