Now, for me to go back in the studio and record this over, it would sound completely different. That would be fun.....

@badmotorscooter1000 Its not all about licks all the time, what he's doing here is way more complex than what a lot of these gospel cats do, the way he comes in and out of the grooves with patters that don't fit perfectly, implying other time signatures, his dynamics are crazy, and his playing is just so much more creative than a lot of dudes out there.

Ive been on Remo and Evans websites checkin out what heads i wanna try next...since Im not endorsed i can freestyle and use whatever i want, lol. But they both have great products, which is why they've been around for so long. But the heads he used in the Tama vid...CRAZY! I want my drums to sound like that. Pretty sure it depends on the type of wood ur drum company uses too...SO MANY FACTORS!!!!!!! LOL

LOL! I know YOU rock Remo, that was to "lilvicfirth". But Ive never come across a tom head that needed absolutely NO muffling assistance. I use a DrumDial to keep my lugs at equal tension, I HIGHLY recommend that product. U still hafta fine tune a little bit, but it puts u in nearly perfect range.

i talk to spanky on myspace and he told me that he uses hhx plosion and those or for like live gigs but if u jus want to use some hhx's at home get da evolutions or if u play at a church get b8 pro but dose are mainly for beginners sooo yea!

well part of it is the atmosphere and what kind of sound the music artist once and it depends on how you tune them because i use moon gel to make the sound clearer not for rings because mines dont have rings on them because u have to tune em rite! i jus use moon gel to give a better sound!
