I’ve watched a few of these sparring sessions now and also a few of Ammaris matches. In all the sparring sessions ammari appears to be hitting faster and harder than his opponents, even where they are smaller and lighter, and using this power - rather than tactics - to dominate. Meanwhile the opponents are doing more experimentation, employing better footwork, etc. I think this is clearest against the fella with black gloves, who is hitting half as hard, but twice as often, and using much more variety in his technique. In his matches ammari is taking the same approach - walk forward, crisp basics, hard as possible show no expression….except his opponents are hitting back just as hard because they’re not deferring to the gym alpha. I know he’s won matches as well, but he lost the matches I saw, due to this robotic, power reliant style. IMO ammari would win more matches if he put his ego to one side, turned down the power in sparring and found other ways to succeed.

Amazing sparring footage here!! I have a tip for a lot of people Go to the body!!Use combos that include body and face they do serious damage!!I see tons of people only aim for the head but no that's not the way!If you need any combos i got you... 4 to the body, lead hook to the face amd a cross to finish the job..Also lead hook to the body and 4 to the face..The key is to go upstairs and then downstairs
