Just hit 93 with this build in 3.2 as a casual veteran player. I have done most "meta" builds to date and this one so far is the best fit for my current playstyle. Clear speed is significantly inferior to the golden days of vaal spark. Nonetheless, its still fun and enjoyable. I can confirm its shaper viable, although if you have played, say, blade flurry this will feel like an eternity. All in all this is the best all-around build if you want an above average clear speed with the potential to clear the entire content. Hi, yes it is because with dual totems we more or less don't have any item requirement... so you can level this easy SSF. Yeah I will update it asap when the patchnotes are released.

Just a question @bashtart. I should start and level as a dual totem build until get some uniques to change for spark (probably in 7x), right? But what about the skill tree? i saw that you showed an skill tree at the "Leveling" Tab on your tutorial to follow as an Dual Totem. But what about the Final and Main skill tree showed on tab "3.1" ? In the future when i reach 7x and choose to change to the spark build, i have to start "reseting" some passive points in the build to change as the final skilltree? I got confused in that point. Is it really a "pain in the ass" to level as an nova spark till the beggining? Appreciate your answer, thanks!

Yes the idea is to use „ancestral bond“ for dual totems to level and just stick to the same skilltree and as soon as you are ready you spec out of ancestral bond and change your gear to selfcast spark. The great thing about leveling with dual totems is that you can just play it SSF because it has very low requirements.

1. League start is really strong imo because the skilltree is kinda perfect for leveling with dual spell totems. (You only need like 5-6 respec points) 2. Is really hard to say because the build was solo spark and i just decided to make it spark / bv for 3.1 but in generell the build was not to expansive (about 100 - 150 chaos for decent basic gear) 3. i used bv in my 6 link because i more or less did only high tiers at the end. I would use the 6link depending on what you want to do for your spark (farming) or bv (bosses)

Hi I don't... in the video I used tempest binding for spark... so more or less a fake 6link and real 6 link for BV. Atm I use a essence of horror crafted helmet for my spark setup.

In some of the video material I used the tempest binding but unfortunately that helm will not be available. In 3.1 shaper items should also allow use to have a fake 6 link.

Don't forget MoM... so the real EHP is much higher. It is more a mix of eva/dodge/block armor with addtional damage mitigation mechanics.

Hi, yeah I have no doubt... dual totems are always a very good league starter because of the low requirements. Its is easy to level this SSF and have then at level 75-80 enough currency to switch to self-cast spark :) From the development manifesto I am even more sure ... vaal pact nerf comfirmed!

In my latest setups I used a Essence of Horror crafted helm which more or less equally good than a tempest binding. In 3.1 we will have Shaper Items which will give us 6 link items for our Spark.

Yeah 30% more elemental damage for socketed gems... the clearspeed felt more or less the same but I am sure there will be pretty insane shaper items.

For farming definitly a good setup but does nothing in bossfights. Charge generation works pretty decent with passive overcharged... I don't feel I need anything else just for map clearing.

Yeah you are right I did all guardians only with spark but i never could beat shaper only with spark. For him I needed BV. If you want to try with only spark i would try to use lightpoacher helmet with vaal breach combination. I think that could work pretty good.

Mapclear was slow compared to what I have played and what I've seen others play, same goes for bosses. Not slow but slow compared to many other meta builds.

I would go with spark+spell echo+pierce+faster proj. With additional 30% ele dmg of Essence of horror it is pretty decent setup.

There are not really mandatory uniques but i really would get cotb because freezing sparks makes your mapping much safer... by the way tomorrow I will release the real build guide... I guess this will answer some of your questions ... also check out the written guide.

Well I am not sure if the build is the best choice for hardcore because it focuses on offense. For hardcore you would have to invest much more in defense maybe even take sibyl‘s ring for reflect because with vaal pact it is dangerous again. Another option for single target would be f.e. Magma orb but I have not tested it yet...

Hehe yeah you are right... when I made this video I was still in the early testing phase. In my latest version I dont use acrobatics because it cost me too much defense and skillpoints. I more or less just wanted to show with this video that this build does not need vaal pact.

It is a combination of mechanics, I use inquisitor regen on concreted ground with additional leech. I use blood rage and when i get hit CWDt procs and that activate arakaali pantheon which is a crazy boost to all life gain.

how realistic is clearing t16 maps without spark on a 6 link? Harbinger helm will probably be very difficult to acquire in 3.1, and it looks like that's the helmet your'e using for the phoenix map. A bit disingenuous to record a map clear using different gear than what you're showing in your intro. Seems like a great build for harbinger league but it's hard to say what it looks like without that helmet, judging only from this video
