Spark Imaginations with Object Boggle

What a joyful, creative and silly way to bond with your kids. Grab everyday objects from around the house (we love kitchen tools especially) and repurpose them with a new name and function! Pass the object back and forth and keep coming up with new ideas. This is also a great mindfulness exercise since you can get inspired by your senses and how the object feels and looks. Like any improv-based game, the more you play, the better you'll get.
We love this in our Child's Play NY classes to inspire imagination and use it as a warm-up before improvising! Kids who are more reluctant at pretend play will appreciate the scaffolding this gives you. Teachers: Use this to jump-start a rehearsal or as a beautiful circle activity to promote belonging and identity through play. I love this as well to kick-start writing in class since kids will be in a tremendous linguistic zone and ready to flow creatively!
