Viewers, Slide on the boot before you crimp the terminal on the wire.. Even better is to slide the boot on before trimming the insulation. This was not demonstrated.

Where can we buy this kind of crimping tool ?

im confused, MSD's video shows them leaving the black layer of inner insulation on, but Hagerty's video shows them stripping it off .?.!. which is it ? they both seem like a trustable source, but both do it different

i have a set of msd wires that i broke where the lead connects to the ignition coil, do you sell those ends seperately?

Nice tool but I could not tell which part of the crimp head you used for the inner wire, vs, the part for the outer full wire. That should have been pointed out when making the vid.

How are you supposed to crimp them and cut them with that tool that comes with the package?! This video showed me where to crimp.. We need another one on how the tool you guys send with is supposed to work now too.

Kind of a stupid moment, but I had no clue that the boot could bend as needed when I bought them. Accidentally melted part of the boot because of the header lol what would you recommend I use to cover up the small hole on the boot? It’s more of a crack than a hole so it should be able to seal, I just don’t know what’s best to use.

Well dang I always tossed the instructions in the trash. I never used the dual crimp tab I always just fold them back. lol I'm assuming it doesn't make a difference in performance.

Your crappy wire caught on fire. How do I SPLICE the 2 halfs back together???
@georgesrisomsak3629 жыл бұрын
Syrus54 your crappy install was likely the fault. Been running this wire set for 8 years, I just now need to replace them due to excessive heat from flat out torturous towing abuse. Will be trying the Taylor Pro race 409's this time around, not because of the product, but just to try something new. Try installing them properly next time.
