I found several green Olivine rocks in a small impact Crater. About 10 lbs. They assayed 3 % Ni. Strongly magnetic with disseminated shiny specks of Ni , iron . They have a molten outer surface . Beautiful under a microscope , Olive green. Looks like a micro Breccia ? Can anyone check it out re : what type it might be ?

I found 2 Olovine Meteorites in an impact Crater, about 5 metres in Diameter,they weigh about 4 Kg. Big response by Metal Detector, magnetic . Assays 3 % Ni. Apple green in colour. Fusion crust . What I need is to have it identified as what type ? Found in Australia.

This meteorite is worth over $300K today. This was during the recession and there was a very small market unlike today where the market has exploded and a lot more people are interested in meteorites and pay a lot more than they did back then. Should’ve kept it and held on to it till 2023 and made a fortune. Letting it go for 50k and having to split it 50/50 with the land owner I bet their kicking them selves for letting it go for 25k
