This is _very_ old information. They're talking about a time before the Crew Dragon launches and before the first Falcon Heavy launch. This data is at least 5 years old. Why are they releasing it now?

I think it may be possible, albeit centuries from now. The speed of which spaceflight technology has progressed in only 60-70 years was incredible. On the other hand said progress was the result of a Cold War, and I think that pace won't be returned to without something like it happening again. Maybe China and the US will be the competitors in such an event.

As someone who is 20 years older than you, they've been saying 'just another 5 years until we go back to the moon' since at least 1980. It never happens, and constantly gets pushed back as the technology to do it still doesn't exist. You can watch failure after failure of 2023 technology to even get into LEO, yet apparently some boomers managed to get there with a mixture of aluminium foil and LSD. 🙄 You only have to look at the NASA footage of the apollo 'life support backpacks' to realise that what they claim wouldn't be possible now, let alone in 1969. Nasa just spent $400 million and 9 years research to FAIL to come up with a spacesuit for the moon that could even pass the first stage of testing, yet apparently the boomers played golf and even drove EVs around on multiple occasions. To sum it up, the moon landings were about as real as Harry Potter and the tooth fairy... Sorry.
