24:08 I've always wondered how Pathfinder got outside of all those balloons. It would be easier to release the balloons first and then deflate them, but often pictures show the deflated blob under Pathfinder. I've never seen it explained anywhere.

While NASA's most groundbreaking accomplishments undoubtedly exemplify humanity's unparalleled capacity for exploration and innovation, the video somewhat oversimplifies the profound scientific, technological, and societal implications of these feats. Beyond the awe-inspiring visuals of interstellar missions and lunar landings, a deeper exploration of the intellectual and collaborative efforts that underpin such achievements would provide a more nuanced understanding of the intricate, often underappreciated work behind these milestones. Such an approach would more fully capture the complexity of NASA's contributions to both space exploration and our broader understanding of the cosmos.

NASA has had a secret space program for a very long time. The public see's only a fraction from NASA.

Call me biased, but the Saturn V is more iconic than the Shuttle. That being said, though the Shuttle was definitely flawed, remarkable things were done with that platform.

I'm 70 years old (in late 2024), and my personal obligations are over. All my early friends are dead, and so is my wife. I can't start anything serious because I won't live to complete it. Nonetheless, I still would like to live long enough to see the Mars human landing.
@tylerbray82337 күн бұрын
Friend, I'd say there is a good chance, God Willing, that you'll witness this achievement. It doesn't seem to be far out of reach. 7 years.... 10 MAX 🤷♂️

@@tylerbray8233 A Mars human landing is very difficult. Currently, we don't even have a decent way for the crew to handle 7 months of zero gravity for the trip there. We could create some spin gravity, but we haven't even started work on that. A one-way trip for someone who isn't able to stand when there is possible, but that's not what we want. IOW, a 10-year time estimate is very optimistic.

Well done making it to 70! But there has already been a secret human base on Mars.

@Nehmo our astronauts go 8-9 months in "zero ag" right now on the ISS. What are you talking about? Yes, they will lose some bone and muscle mass, but that's to be expected- same as on ISS.

@@Nehmo9 people have spent over 7 months in zero ag with the longest being 437 days. Problem solved.
