it took me over three decades of on and off searching to find this song. i searched catalogues by Beres but was just unsuccessful. I thought i had imagined the song.Some 10 years ago i was in santa cruz, St Elizabeth and all doubts was removed. There it was on the radio. I started the search again . here i am listening to it for the umpteenth time. Beres simply has not done better. If only beres had remained with this form an style the he would have no rival. not that any reggae singer come close.Jamaica and the world certainly would be consuming a richer variety of reggae.
