Maybe this is a hot take, but Sparking Zero could use more characters that are 3 DP or lower. I can’t imagine anything else that would cement its unique charm as an imbalanced fighting game. Just take popular characters one by one and Hercule them into the game. RPG mode in BT3 was a novelty that doesn’t need to be redone. The campaign is unfinished, but it isn’t how most people will want to experience the story, anyway.

I feel like the UI is part if the issue. Just like the character selection isn't the best, the Custom Battles are tricky to get to. The menus are slow to navigate. We are missing an open map area like in Budokai 3, that was the best (could have done if for the menus or for the History mode). I feel you. Love Sparking but it is heavily focused on online while the offline feels disconnect from one feature to the other imo.

I agree with everything you said. They definitely need to add all this missing stuff.. except androids beeing "overpowered" if anyone thinks they are too strong than that's a big skill issue bro..! Are we really acting like all the saiyans don't have the most broken skills like instant spark, full power ki, wild sense, instant transmission, turning into all these super saiyan versions and becoming even more powerful.. & a whole lot of other character's who actually get health or ki back by transforming and people are telling me androids are to strong?!! Bro hell no!

You’d think given how good Tekken 8’s story mode was that Bandai would give us a decent one in Sparking Zero. They seem to think the online community would keep things afloat for SZ, but the truth is a lot of fighters live and die by their single player content. Would definitely love to watch you play these older games; I’ve got very little experience with the Budekai games, but what you showed looked like fun. Would also love to see BT3 tournaments. Honestly, this takes me back to the days where it wasn’t all about cash grabs, and game companies just knew how to have fun with their projects and try new things. As always, here’s your questions. Giving you two since I missed the boat on the last video: 1. Disregarding The Drink for a moment, if you could marry/adopt into any of the families in Dragon Ball, which one? (ie Goku’s family of martial artists, the Briefs’ begillionare fortune, Mr. Satan’s hybrid fighter/fortune, etc) 2. Which of the seven dragon balls is your favourite?

I don't agree with the flying mode simply because I'm blind and that would 100% deny me from playing the story mode in its entirety. However, the board game idea would be absolutely awesome as at the very least I don't have to worry about flying and getting lost.

No shade but this is not BT3. This is BT3 heavily modded. Vanilla BT3 had more content than Sparking Zero I will admit, but this is comparison is almost Apple to Oranges. Budokai 3, Infinite World & Burst Limit will forever be goated though.

I personally don’t care. All you do is fight in story mode, no matter what you’re fighting. Sparkling Zero gave the community a chance to make their own stories, what if fights, etc. There’s been so many DBZ games all that told the story plus there’s multiple animes and a manga. The point was to get us a modern day fighting game similar to the Tenkaichi series.

@@JZKonjiesTV they all play the same on other games as well. Budakai 3 was fun with the board and everything, but the fighting mechanics were the same as everything else in the game. No matter what slideshow or animation they put in front of you the goal is to get to the fight and they all do. It’s not like demon slayer or ninja storm where there’s unique boss fights never has been.
