The most important thing is that Trunks with armor is in the game. That means we're highly likely to get Super Trunks. That's important.

An interview with IGN came out today that said this game has actually been in development for 5 years, which is insane. Also, I saw someone on Twitter say the Japanese site says the roster will be the biggest in the series, but I wasn't able to find a source for that claim, so take it with a grain of salt.

Yeah, I wrote this before that interview came out. That said, the years can be misleading without knowing the details of what happened in that time. Could have been in preproduction or concept for a long time. Bottom line is we just don't know, but its looking more likely that it will be true.

If it has been 5 years, I find the roster claims easier to believe. I was thinking, they'd need a lot more time to fit in that many characters and do them all real justice. Expectations seemed unrealistic. But if they've been working on it that long behind the scenes, suddenly it seems plausible. The English site says 'historic', so I would not be surprised if the Japanese site says largest, as that's how many interpret the English one.

If you go to the beam clash frame by frame in the trailer, you can see for just one frame that there are buttons on the screen, indicating the beam flashes might be button mashing instead of joystick rotation

I would rather they just take the raging blast approach and let you swap supers, though I do think super Goku and Z Goku should probably be separate characters due to the sheer number of transformations.

@@JackOfenI would say Daima instead of Heroes. DBS Hype, who is a very reliable source mentioned that the roster will be from OG to Daima. I do hope that Goku isn't the only one who has the separate case though, I hope other characters do too.

Those auras might be specific to Super Saiyan Blue, they're kinda reminiscent of how SSB is depicted in the manga., where it has this blotchy shape as opposed to the usual straight glow.

The Aura problems you're talking about might be the general art/animation style they're taking. It seems to be taking DB Super: Broly's sometimes blobby effects for auras. Or maybe they're just using those for the Blue Forms, and then they'll use OG fiery auras for the regular Super Saiyan forms. Raging Blast & Ultimate Tenkaichi introduced different types of auras. Broly, Hachiyack, The Androids, Majin Buu all had different auras / charging animations

Hoping the beam deflection cant be used against the ultimates, unless you're in the 100% overcharge state or something. That way it's still badass but the ultimates still have more weight.

I agree with Raging Blast being slower in pace, but RB2 had more depth and combo routes than BT3. I just think Raging Blast had a bad tutorial mode. The cancel system had some depth to it, and RB2 added to it with Raging soul

ID say more 13 years than 16. Raging Blast was clearly intended to be "Next gen tenkaichi", similar to how Ninja Storm 1 feels kinda like a remake of Ultimate Ninja 3 ...it just didnt have the same happy ending (happy ending until Storm Connections anyhow) As for Ultimate Tenkaichi... sigh, i still remember the fucking survey they did. They did a survey asking for what players wanted for the new game, and considering the things i listed, are actually in UT, i feel it actually mattered Well that, and the fact that the name is what it is... that was part of the survey as well. Havent seen a survey for Sparking Zero so thats good.

One of my great concerns I have, and maybe someone can help with my question, is that when trying to look up additional info for this game, I saw no information about this game being available for pre-gen consoles and only for the newer consoles. Example of this would be xbox one players wouldn’t be able to play the game and you would need an Xbox X to play the game.
