Thank you for your video! You speak a lot about confidence, even in other parts of the talk. I came to Sweden 15 years ago (not from India) and I think I also was unsure many times at first, since I didn't know the language, the customs, - 'the rules', so to speak. But ALL my confidence and what you describe as 'badass' came back - when I started speaking the language fluently and learned the rules. Now when something is not right - I indeed take an action! I don't think much about it. I feel at home. I also volunteer to help some local people in need and even give advice to some more timid Swedish colleagues about how to take action in their lives :D Just wanted to share my experience.

It was also very interesting to hear about the speed of growth that you've had in India, and yes, in Sweden everything is much slower and the system is sometimes against the foreigners, maybe with the exception of Stockholm. Generally the level of ambition here is lower and people are less 'hungry' and ambitious - that's just my opinion. Because they don't NEED to do that, so they don't. I'm quite ok in this culture myself. My life is way less stressful, I like it. I don't need to be i.e. a regional manager to have a good life. But I see your point. I think Stockholm would be a good match for your energy, if you're not already there.

I came across your channel while browsing videos about Sweden on KZbin. I am currently writing a script for my next KZbin video, 'Study in Sweden,' and have a list of questions that I believe no one can answer better than you. How can we connect?

Sometimes, life calls for a bold step, one that requires courage and mental strength. If you feel unhappy or unfulfilled living in Sweden after 8 years, it may be worth considering a return to India-a place where you might rediscover the sense of home and belonging. However, such a decision should never be made impulsively; it needs to be carefully planned and thought through, especially from a financial perspective. India is thriving in terms of growth and opportunities. If you find yourself stuck in a cycle of unhappiness, it might be time to reflect on what truly matters. Have you grown too accustomed to an unsatisfying routine? What are you willing to compromise in the long term? Ask yourself this: where do you see yourself in 10 years? What kind of life do you want to build for yourself and your family? Plan your next steps thoughtfully. Mental peace, happiness, and family are far more important than anything else in the long run. Reclaim your confidence and create a life that aligns with your values and aspirations. It’s never too late to make a change, especially when it’s a change toward a more meaningful and fulfilling life.

Genuine question: Why was it necessary to leave your country of origin? What can Sweden offer you that India can't?
@bletwort292018 күн бұрын
Some people are just want to be different from everyone else
@biglovekisskiss466618 күн бұрын
@@bletwort2920 India is such a culturally encriched country - it's almost as if she is a traitor to her people for abandoning it. She is such a talented Hindu woman. Why abandon your own country? Makes no sense.

Ofcourse when you are young you want to travel and experience different cultures, I didn't know that life is so different in other countries...

@@SparklewithJyoti You can still choose where you want to live! Life is not set in stone. This country is not for everyone. I know people who changed countries several times.

In spite of all these challenges what made you stay in Sweden for 9 years?
