Hi guys! I've been getting comments from some people having trouble for the glazing. I think the problem might be, if you're using a synthetic brush, the glazing has to be done very gently because the bristles are more rough. So you can try it on a small section first before glazing the whole painting to check. Or you can glaze only the negative spaces to avoid ruining your hard work. If you have a soft brush I'd definitely recommend to use it for the glazing step. My apologies for not mentioning it in the video as I didn't realise. I hope your painting goes well! Once you're comfortable with colour mixing you can also create your own colours. I've seen many versions from people tagging me, with different tones of blues and they look great :D:D

Briiliant Watched this video a year back when I started painting after about 25 years and had thought someday I would try this. That day came today when my husband's neice, who is staying with us and finished her finals, and I decided to have a combined painting session. I asked her to choose a tutorial and luckily she chose this one. We had such fun doing it. Our resultant painting look so different. Completely stunning and the way you show how you do it makes it not seem as intimidating as other tutorials do. I work well with patterns so the pattern of doing the shapes in different shades and colours and repeating that really helped

Thank you very much for demonstating this shoreline painting . It was beautiful to watch with the lovely music. You are very talented and explain thjngs so well. It looked amazing at the end especially with all the textures and shading and gorgeous colours . I loved the star fish at the end what a nice touch . You are very inspiring and have a nice relaxing voice to listen to aswell. Thank you very much I really enjoyed it. 😊

I would love some more tutorials on water (lakes, rivers, reflections), I can grasp the concepts behind painting solid objects but water is so beyond me. I'm thrilled to try this technique!
