My mate builds large workshops, hay sheds, garages etc for farms. He lives just up the road a few K’s. if you give me the door size, he will tell you what support you will need, taking into account your winds, which he can google. He builds, to last a life time. Cement trucks have boom’s if they know it’s going to be a difficult pour. They will get it in there, no matter what.

Sorting and matching socks is a good activity for Maverick. Make it into a game or chore for him. It will help you out and will also be a learning activity for him.

with having small kids like u do , i would clean the sofa and than get a sofa cover to help keep it clean , than u just have the wash the covers here and there than needed

I hang all my clothes other than under garment (panties and Bra's) and sock's and shorts. I keep the empty hangers hung next to the dryer so as I pull clothes out of it I just need to put them on a hanger hang them up and then move them to my closet. It makes everything so much easier and quicker because then all I have left to do is toss socks and under clothes in their drawers ( I also buy the same kind of socks so no need to match, when I buy 2 separate colors I place baskets/dividers in my drawers so I can toss them in each side according to color.) This makes everything a lot easier and quicker and also eliminates wrinkles in all my clothes no need to iron.

Crandall I don’t know why but I have a feeling that you should build your foundation for your shop before you build the top?? Because it’s so important to have a good foundation to build up from. For the gate hinges. You just weld 3x3 inch in length, one inch pipe to the side of the gate. Same on the support pole but lower than the ones on the gate, so the gate sits on top and you use 3 bolts that go through the pipe. That way, you can remove the gate if you had to with ease. You can drill grease nipple holes into the pipe as well. For gates, you use marine grease. It last longer in weather conditions. JOB DONE

I have four laundry baskets to presort laundry into. 1 for whites, 1 for towels/sheets, 1 for everyday work and church clothes, and 1 for my husbands work uniforms/jeans. This saves me a lot of time on laundry day! Hope this helps! I started doing this when my kids were young and I still do it that way. ❤

When our hot water heater was replaced, they put an overflow tray under it. You should put one under your new one.

DRYER TIP: Put a clean, dry hand towel in with the wet load. Remove after about 15mins and hang up. Load will dry in 2/3 the time😊❤

My laundry tip was no clothes their room except socks snd undies. My laundry room was big. So I hung everything right there, even slacks and they dressed there. When changing it was in the kept the bathroom after bathes. So clothes were in the bathroom, pjs were in laundry room. It worked for me. Crazy when my boys moved on there own they built a rack for their clothes in their laundry rooms too.

When you replace your hot water tank, buy a tub, that will go underneath it. So if you do get a leak, it won't go all over the floor.

I noticed the steel you were welding was from Mexico. If you have to buy more, I suggest you do it now. In a week or two there will be tariffs on steel from Mexico so the price could go up by about 25%.

Marci tip to keep your Christmas tree in great shape because the box will fall apart and mice and spiders will get in it being your putting it outside in your shead. I got the rubber made totes that are clear like the ones you have in the boys closet. They have long ones that your tree will fit perfectly and will protect it. I've had the same tree for over 10yrs and it still looks brand new, I also keep my lights in with it. I don't like the pre lit trees I don't trust them. My son inlaw s parents spent over $400 on one and the following year the lights didn't work on half the tree. I told her to get the rubber made box's she said oh it will be just fine, turned out mice got in the box and chewed the wires that was not covered by the company for replacement. Spend the $20 on the tote 🎄🎄

Many cement trucks have telescoping chutes. They can park in front of the shop and telescope out the chute to reach where he needs the cement to go shortening it as they get closer to the front.

They make cement trucks that can pour concrete through long troughs/ pipes. They do it in commercial builds . But I’ve seen them used building barns. houses. Check it out . Long arm pouring.

Can you have your cement pumped in? Then you don't have to spin your wheels how to get him in from the back. It may keep the charge down too. I know you will research this. In Wisconsin we have concrete pumpers that cement companies hire to pump the concrete into places their trucks can’t get into. Check into that, maybe.

Do the cement before you do the top or you can have it pumped in which adds to the expense. They had to pump our cement in for our pool.

M5 son is a cement truck driver. You just need to talk to the company explain your needs. They will let you know what is possible and if you will need a pump truck to send it in further.

I love Loctite gel . I used it on a rivet on my flag pole that blows in the winds daily that needed glued. It dries fast n being it is gel, no dripping,

When you wash the sock pin them with safety pins then wash and dry. Roll the pants after they dry. You will be able to see the colors when ready to wear. I always hang the shirts. Good luck!

I have seen concrete trucks that pump cement with a long tube that reaches all around foundations when the truck can't drive around the structure. Ask your local concrete company to come out and take a look at what you need

As far as my living sorrybyou dont have a 2nd living room. Mine were notbto go in there really. Best thing we did is not putbthe tv there. Maybe add the 2nd tv in playroom, keep fireplace tv off. This will steer the kid to the playroom. You both need to also need to go to that 2nd tv too most of the time. Less cleaning to do in the main room for Marcy then. Also no food need to be enforced between meals unless you are there with yours too.

POUR THE CEMENT BEFORE YOU PUT THE BEAM UP. THEN YOU CAN POUR IT LET IT DRY AND THEN YOU WONT GAVE TO WORRY ABOUT THE MUD.

Well my family's house that was built when I was a little girl was built crooked also. That's back in the 60's & early 70's. So when my stepdad finished out the back patio in the late 70's kept fussing about how off that back patio was when he finished it out. At this point in your life I would think it would be easier to have couch covers. Boys will be sick and boys will spill. It used to bug me when my children were young that my husband always wanted covers on the couch till I found out the reason why! The gates are looking good.
