Couldn't they find someone who knew even remotely who Sparks were; a bit about their background and where they were going instead of just asking them again and again where they've been? Where's the research and professionalism from this bloke?

Why wear sun glasses indoors? 😎 Frankly scarlett sounds better with the vocoder backing vocal. However, miming doesn't cut it.

I don't like playback. Russell is such a great singer, so I always wonder, why there is this stupid playback.

@@girlfromgermany They stopped all playback in 2014.

@@disownedpear In 2014? I thought it was earlier. At least in Germany there was a transition period in the 90s. The singing was live, but the music was playback.

a@@girlfromgermany You're right they went full live for the "Two Hands One Mouth" tour. For their regular performances they started using playbacks on Gratuitous Sax and slowly used less and less until the last two tours that had no playbacks. In terms of TV, I'm not really sure, maybe that changed around the Lil Beethoven tour?

@@disownedpear Oh, I was not talking about tours, only about TV appearances. On tour they used additional playback to have more of Russell's voice, like 5 Russells for example. And I'm listening to this here again now, and it's the same. He sings live with additional playback. I didn't hear that when I listened for the first time, perhaps I wasn't concentrated enough.
