@WahldoK3 жыл бұрын
You are right, they are unique !!!!.They are in their 70s, it does not matter to me.... There are so many musicians that are younger and whose music is just the copy of what was done (the Sparks' music for instance) in the 70ies and the 80ies.... And these today's' young musicians will probably not be as charming and imaginative at the same age of the Sparks' brothers. It is too bad that the camera blurs Russell's face since he is still extremely good-looking now even if his face and neck are wrinkled. You can't be 25 your whole life, and if it's to stay as talented and charming as Ron and Russell that's good.

Be fair, hardly any could as the 70s was generally full of nonsense with no staying power and dated shortcomings. Give their following generation a chance-as Duran are matching them quick, and Alphaville, A-ha & OMD are also doing it for the guys. But look at ABBA coming back after decades of simply being forever icons without issuing anything new!

Absolutely brilliant, my favourite track on the album, and a brilliant video. I've been a Sparks fan since This Town in 1974. 46 years later, they are still producing excellent and relevant music. They are one of my personal hall of fame bands, and I mean that literally. In my hallway I have a dozen or so albums framed, which represent the bands/artists that have meant most to me over my life. Sparks Kimono My House is one of those albums that sits in my hall of fame. The albums that I frame might not necessarily be my favourite album of the band that I love, but are chosen because of their visual impact. Kimono is one of my favourite Sparks albums anyway, but the album cover is striking, so had to be the choice. I'm a huge fan of Bowie, and I have his Aladdin Sane album in my Hall of Fame, even though it's not in my top 5 Bowie albums. I just think it's the most striking cover.
