Hanayama was stated to have been capable of putting down Musashi ( who was using his blades) with only a few punches and in the Sumo arc, it’s implied that if Hanayama learned sumo he’d basically be the greatest rikishi in history. He was strong enough to slow down pickle to a crawl. The same pickle capable of throwing out casual punches that Kaku Kaioh stated he’d feign death to evade. To make matters worse for Oliva, Oliva was shitting his pants merely watching Musashi fight. Hanayama also drew blood from Yujiro while Oliva has nothing really on that level. Hanayama wins unless Oliva gets better feats in the upcoming series.

To be fair, Oliva seems to improove A LOT in recent chapters, where he basicly made Sukune look like a clown. While i believe Hanayama to be more durrable and even better at pushing power, Oliva is likely stronger when it comes to straight up punches. It was implied in Pickle arc by Baki, that Oliva would find himself a good match against regular Pickle, which already puts him above fighters like Jack at the time.

@@Shoddragon it is currently hard to say, who hits harder. On one hand, Hanayama made Yujiro drop a bit of blood after the full power punch. Im not sure about your Hanayama vs Oliva analysis... Oliva's speed is being overestimated here, Baki manily chose to test his raw strenght against Oliva, its not like Baki was going full speed and Oliva was keeping up with him. Oliva is indeed fast for someone as big as him, but so is Hanayama. Hanyama has shown to be very fast (able to almost outspeed a car) and agile in his fight with Katsumi, however it is difficult to state how slow he is compared to Oliva or the other way around. Oliva's durability being higher than Hanyama's is questionable: both tanked firearms at point blank range and sufferend little damage, Hanayma tho took a sniper shot to the head and lived. Now that is far more impressive than Oliva tanking a small shotgun calibre, in the spinoff back to school manga, Hanayama said to a bully that he carried multiple weapons with him so that bullies could have a chance at fighting him and among the weapons there was a shotgun and grenades. Now there is no showing of this, but it means that Hanayama would have no problem handling those, considering how he just sit with his back exposed waiting for the bully opponent to strike him with all those weapons he just gave him. This is not a feat, but, considering Hanayama gave him a shotgun, grenades, katans and guns, he either is very arrogant about his durability or he already fought this way and had no problems handling those kind of weapons. In any case its safe to assume that he could probably tank those weapons. Hanayama survived Spec which to be honest i'm not 100% sure Oliva could: Hanyama not only has great endurance but also an extremely high pain tolerance which makes him stand out and be serious/calm in every situation, this is something that Oliva may be lacking. Strenght wise is difficult to judge, however it is for sure that they are in the same Strenght Tier. Grip Strenght goes to Hanayama, he has the 3rd highest grip strenght after Yujiro and Sukune. Also Oliva being punched by Yujiro was not as bad as Hanyama being pushed away from Yujiro. Yujiro hit Oliva with a light punch which sent him flying a few meters away against a shelf full of books, while Yujiro pushed so HARD Hanayama that he sent him flying for all across the streets to the inside of a market, stopping after 4 shelves were completely destroyed. Hanyama traveled much more distance and the impact was much higher than Oliva's who was just lightly punched. Also it is to notice that, despite being knocked out, Hanayama took no damage from that impact. Oliva beating an injured Sukune is also not a very great feat to be honest as Sukune's greatest strenght his is grip and he had lost half of hit with his pinky missing, Hanyama could probably do the same. I really don't think Oliva vs Hanayama is so easy to determine, both are evenly matched, however i think Hanayama, considering that as stated by the author gets stronger everyday as he grows, has the edge over Oliva, especially with grip strenght which is something that comes into play very often in these fights. Also Hanyama's punching power is no joke; he did destroy an armored military car who was said able to survive an RPG, which means that Hanyama can punch harder than an RPG ( i guess). If we really want to compare this to tanking firearms, by logic Oliva should be demolished however I would not take this too literally. Still, for Hanayama vs Oliva i would say 6/10 Hanayama wins (with high difficuly)

In my opinion, in Oliva vs. Hanayama both goats fight, Oliva takes Durability cuz Well we all know why, but endurance and pain tolerance goes better off with hanayama, And attack potency is a major win for his grip is extremely strong and his punch gave Yujiro onguard a "nosebleed" , Oliva has not performed such a feat tho its arguable, but his grip is a good Utility against Oliva who lost to a power struggle with Sukune who's weapon is also his immense grip, Plus Hanayama has better stamina and endurance feat capable of tanking Pickle's rush, and being capacle of defeating Speck while being Fractured, shot in vital points, and have his mouth suffering a explosion, blunt force injuries from being hit by speck, and even inflicting heavy injuries to him, when he gets the chance to strike. However this would either be changed depending on the other's advantage. Biscuit Oliva had decent speed feats unlike Hanayama who's fighting style is head on fight, not usually fighting an opponent with faster and more agile style and builds like as aforementioned Baki, katsumi etc. Oliva could outmaneuver Hanayama despite him being a huge mass of walking Metal-like muscles, but still kaoru having his immense grip and attack potency could Potentially do the same to Oliva as Sukune or Oliva wins by Outmaneuvering Hanayama with his agility using hit and run tactics. but yeah I probably only mention things like feats from hanayama but not oliva and vice versa Imma summarize it Rq Strength: Hanayama KaoruKaoru Stamina & Endurance: Hanayama> Oliva (based on injuries they sustained still being capable to fight at good condition) Hax: Oliva> Abilities Hanayama> iq & Biq: Oliva> AP: Oliva> conclusion: Oliva mid diff (imo)

Hanayama wins and i explain this quite easily. Sukune only has his grip strength. He's never done anything on par with how much Hanayama made Musashi struggle. If the get into an actual fight with each other (Hanayama and Sukune), grip strength is only going to be a small aspect of the fight and Sukune has never shown Hanayama's level if durability or striking strength. It turning into a grappling match if Sukune grapping Hanayama is the only potential way that Sukune can win (that is, if Hanayama doesnt smash him down with his fists quickly like he did Musashi). If he made Musashi struggle so much before finally losing, imagine what he would do to Sukune. Yujiro is barely above Musashi and yet look at how easily he defeated Sukune. As for Pickle, if you look at the fights between him and Musashi, it almost looks like Hanayama made him struggle more than Pickle did. The only reason i still belive that Pickle is above Hanayama is because Musashi himself said he is above him. Otherwise, Hanayama did more damage to Musashi than both battles with Pickle combined (at least it seemed like it). They're really interchangeable. Kaku most definitely did not do anything of that level to prove his power as the most he did was beat Yujiro into his Demon Back form when Yujiro was weaker than now. That really doesnt mean much as some time before that (i forgot how many years) Doppo did the same thing. As stated in Baki the Grappler, Yujiro constantly learns new techniques and gets stronger as it is part of his nature. So the time Yujiro struggled so much against Kaku is far past the expiration date. All in all, only Yujiro, Baki, and probably Pickle would be stronger than Hanayama overall and would beat him in a fight, while Sukune only has his grip strength and the chance of him beating Hanayama is not higher than the chance of Hanayama beating him. I mean don't really think him breaking Olivas fist like that compares to Hanayama trashing around Musashi and giving him a close fight because Yuijiro beat Oliva in a contest of strength without even trying not too long after he fought Kaku, so Oliva isnt really relative to guys like Musashi and Yujiro. As for him breaking Oliva's fist like that, if you look at it at a technical level, that is more of a skill than a strength feat. Sukune was leaning forward with his entire body while Oliva's fist came full force at Sukune's forehead, and his thick skull broke Olivas hand and fingers. All you need to do to pull off a feat like that would be to be relavite to Oliva in strength rather than leagues above him, as it is more a technical skill. Doppo used a similar technique against Ali Jr (if you recall) and ended up breaking his hand. The real strength feat Sukune had against Oliva that proves that he is way beyond him was breaking his ribs with his grip alone. I did say that Sukune has stronger grip strength than Hanayama but that his other types of strength are lacking anyways (in that he doesnt have the feats to back it up yet). Btw Retsu had Weapons against Musashi and he still died (Hanayama only had his fists) Musashi was not even able to cut Hanayama in 2 peaces. Hanayama Stopped Musashis sword with his back and Fists in mid air. Pickle even saw Hanayama as a rival and not as food like the most fighters. Kaku let himself die before Yujiro landed a punch on him, because he knowed it would be his end. Yujiro went probably even stronger after Oliva holded his punch. Hanayama even made Yujiro bleed, not many characters did it (i know you could probably use the argument "but he let himself get hitted by Hanayama") Hanayama would win against Sukune like i explained it before. Hanayama took a punch by Yujiro without getting seriously injured. The author told the press that Hanayama doesnt train, but he gets buffed every single tick as he grows up naturally. Hanayama is stronger than Baki up until the point Baki fights Yujiro and forcefully gets his demon blood awoken by Yujiro himself, at that point baki breaks pickles FANG with one single punch, which is something even the full powered kicks of Jack and Baki could never do before, not even close. + You have to appreciate how even Yujiro in his might has recognised Hanayama's strength. Its just my opinion and why i think that Hanayama is top 6/5 for me.

During the Musashi arc, after all the fighters of the world are bored and unexcited due to the intensity of Baki vs Yujiro from the previous manga, Yujiro finally smiles again after being challenged by Hanayama and Hanyama managing to draw blood. Hanayama would then get in range of like.... 4 tapping Musashi with his swords later in the arc (Musashi confirms that a few more punches and he's done and Baki confirms it again by saying the next blow would end it as Musashi wasn't holding up as well as he looks). Hanayama would then get even stronger, with him one-tapping Sumo's greatest striker to the point the dude described the punch as immediately making the world turn black as he instantly got knocked out. Keep in mind, the Sumo arc builds up Rikishi as being exceptionally hard to knock out if they are prepared to be hit and the Striker Hanayama one tapped was prepared to be hit.

Its just my opinion and why i think that Hanayama is top 6 for me, but i respect your opinion.

Hanayama is like 18 years OLD , Biscuit Oliver, aka unchained. is in his early 40's? Men hit their PRIME AGE at 24 1st prime 18 years old , 2nd prime 24 years old , 3rd prime and is the last of your prime, at 35. Which can last you all the way to 50 if you took care of your health and went to the gym/exercise So basically typing, HANAYAMA hasn't even reach is PRIME to develop growth.

@@Wayvyobi I can explain this quite easily. Simply put, unless the scenario was written by someone other than Itagaki there is zero chance that Oliva beats Hanayama in a fight. Despite some impressive demonstrations of strength Olivia ultimately has no wins under his belt against top tier opponents & has lost handedly against each significant Japanese fighter he has faced, totaling 0 wins, 5 losses that I'm aware of. Summed up, Olvia= Impressive showman but overhyped as a fighter.
